Constant delivery errors and rude customer service
I used to be an avid fan of arket and still enjoy the rare occasions when I can actually get into a store (the one in Köln was a delight and the staff excellent). However, my recent online experience has been appalling. Ordered a rollneck jumper of which I have 2 other colours. When it arrived (after a week despite orders from H&M being free and taking much less time) I discovered that the jumper had clearly been washed and had a very strong smell of cheap detergent/fabric softener. The fabric was also much thinner and less bouncy than my identical jumpers. I returned it and immediately ordered a replacement as this is for a birthday present. The replacement arrived another week later and I opened it with excitement only to discover they had sent the wrong item which was clearly not a rollneck. When I contacted customer service by phone, the agent was incredibly rude and did not want to help. I asked to speak to their supervisor and, after a long wait on hold, was told they were busy and would ring me back within 24 h (no sign yet). I then went on chat and was told to place another order. I asked if Arket would pay for expedited delivery, which I was told they would - I needed to place the order and go back on chat and they would refund it. Whilst preparing my order the chat was then ended (not by me). I have obviously not placed another order and am loathed to do so again. What a waste of my time and not what I would have expected. Really disappointing. And no doubt I will have to fight to get the £3 returns fee refunded for each of the orders where Arket were clearly at fault.

I was a regular Arket customer, as were my husband and sons. I bought a shirt as a Christmas present for my son online on November 14. We were away over Christmas and NY and he has just tried to return it, as he already had one similar. Apparently Christmas at Arket, and its extended returns policy, started on November 15, which means the shirt would have had to be returned by December 15 to qualify for a refund. No flexibility shown at all. Not the best way to treat regular customers! We are now ex customers.

I asked for the parcel that was delivered to the post office to be immediately returned as i was unable to collect it. On December 19th I was told it was ready for collection but that it would be returned after 10 days. On Jan 10th I called customer service and they now claim the parcel wasn't delivered until Jan 7th...if that was the case it was a 4 week delivery time. They are refusing to refund the order until they get the order back, but that should have happened nearly two weeks ago. One of the customer service statements is simply untrue.

Avoid Arket Italia online store if possible! The customer service is extremely poor, arrogant, and unhelpful. I’m deeply disappointed. I placed an order on December 26th, and 10 days later, it hadn’t even been dispatched. I contacted customer service to cancel the order, as I had ordered it for a holiday property and wouldn’t be able to collect it the following week. They refused to cancel it and proceeded with shipping. Twelve days later, the package was abandoned by the courier in the outdoor parking space, with no one available to collect it until next summer.
This is a Swedish company with a strong reputation, and I’m honestly shocked to be left in this situation, losing €160. Despite multiple attempts to reach customer service and resolve the issue, they have refused to help. The level of customer service is appalling, and it’s honestly shocking how bad it’s become. It certainly didn’t used to be this way.

Frustrating and counterintuitive policies
I appreciate the quality of ARKET garments, but I find some policies quite frustrating and counterintuitive.
I placed an order two days ago, and it's not even dispatched yet. However, I noticed that the price of one of the items in my order has already dropped. I requested either a price adjustment or the cancellation of the order, as it has not been dispatched yet. Unfortunately, the customer support agent declined both requests.
It seems inefficient and unsustainable to proceed with shipping an item that is still in your warehouse, only for me to then initiate a return—requiring additional time, resources, and costs, including return shipping.
This approach unnecessarily increases shipping emissions and operational inefficiencies, which could easily be avoided by cancelling the order now or offering a price adjustment. It would demonstrate greater environmental responsibility and better customer service to allow such flexibility, especially when the order has not yet left your facilities

I am extremely dissatisfied with the services provided, as they are both unprofessional and unethical. The company does not offer an option for customers to cancel their orders directly through their website or platform, which is already a major inconvenience. Instead, customers are instructed to call the DPD helpline to cancel their order, which is an unnecessary and frustrating step in the process.
Furthermore, once an order is canceled through this cumbersome method, the company does not initiate a refund until the product is returned. This adds further delays to the process, leaving customers without both their products and their money for an extended period. This lack of proper procedure and customer service is highly disappointing and demonstrates a disregard for customer satisfaction and basic consumer rights.

Visited shop this winter and was impressed with Swedish material quality and style, they use cotton and wool in their clothes which is important for me. Than I ordered online my size only because in the shop they run out of that, received in good time. Good I did not rely to reviews here.
No compensation for poor quality…
No compensation for poor quality garments showing faults. Sweater that started to pile after 1-2 uses, as well a sweater with broken seams after quite few uses. Arket uses often good materials but the quality of their garments isn't that good. More akin to fast fashion, than quality products that last. Be aware.

Like many of the other customers reviewing on here, I've ordered from Arket lots in the past. I ordered items for Christmas gifts to arrive in time. Tracking was not updated so I contacted customer services. They decided to cancel dispatch without consulting me. Over the next 2 weeks I emailed practically each day. I finally received a refund receipt and saw they had charged me for both delivery and return, neither of which had actually happened. It is difficult to imagine a worse customer service than this. I echo others - don't buy from Arket.

Order never arrived on time, when I spoke to customer service they told me delivery timescale on website was wrong. Customer service then terminated the chat abruptly before the issue could be resolved. Terrible service and surprised they’re still able to operate in this manner. arket will not refund me for missing item when wrong item delivered
wrong, much cheaper item delivered. arket wont refund me for expensive undelivered item or replace without me returning incorrectly delivered one. I live in a remote location and cannot get to post office and i have waited in all day and couriers they send never turn up. Corduroy trousers deteriorated after using twice
I ordered a pair of corduroy trousers that I wore 2 times before they started to deteriorate and the material sort of fell apart. I ordered them to Norway and I can't find any way to get a refund or even get in touch with customer service.
