Excessive behaviour.
Every insurer is the same. Compulsory excess, tailored to tally with cost of the average claim, so that the insured won't bother. All they want is the cream from the top of the milk. They are Ladbrokes with bells on. Every town's fine buildings (banks insurance companies) are built with your hard-earned.

We were very sad to read your 1-star review. Excesses are a necessary part of insurance to ensure we can keep prices low for true & honest customers. We believe in full transparency on excesses when signing up, and ensure every user must select their own personal excess that they are comfortable with before they can proceed and commence their cover.
Without excesses in insurance the policyholder does not share the same vested interest in keeping their items as safe.

I revised my policy by email and within 1 hour I received my new policy documents. Fantastic response with great emphasis on customer service. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing insurance products. Overall my experience has been extremely positive and I would not hesitate to request quotes from this company for any further insurance requirements I may have!

I've been subscribed for a little while…
I've been subscribed for a little while now (15th August 2022) but wanted to come back and share my experience with Arma Karma as an insurance company, from a 58 year old father of two.
The sign up process was simple, and didn't take a rocket scientist to understand, which makes a nice change when buying insurance. I also did not feel as though they were asking for huge amounts of unnecessary information for the sake of it.
Since then, while my contact has not been monthly with the business, when I've needed to speak with them they have always been available and incredibly helpful.
I added an item (Bose headphones) to my subscription in January, which already had 2 items attached to it (Samsung phone & laptop), which happened straight away and without fuss.
Almost had to claim as my laptop wasn't turning on but fortunately it recovered before I had to start the process online. However from exploring that area, the digital claim submission looks fairly intuitive also.
I have a son heading to University this year, and an older daughter who no longer lives at home. I have recommended the subscription to both, as previously they have come to me to pay for new devices should something go wrong, which naturally I want to avoid.
All in all, I'm very satisfied with my experience thus far with Arma Karma for my insurance, and hope this positivity continues for both my policy and my children's policies should they take them out. I will be sure to update my review should anything change with my experience. Thanks.

Very Helpful with Complex Query
I spoke with Chris regarding a complex query where I needed to combine various plans and add more items to it. He was also able to help me with some questions I had regarding valuing items. He was extremely helpful and managed to sort everything quickly and easily. He provided me with all the answers I needed and was quick to reassure me of any worries I had.

Painless Insurance - Camera kit
Very quick and simple process. Painless. A+++
Had a few questions about level of cover but the customer service team were helpful and resolved these for me.
I struggled to find good cover for my camera equipment until I discovered these guys, but now have my entire kit covered for under a tenner a month. The 60 days abroad was a must on this. Had several bad experiences before but so far the process has been refreshing compared to what else is out there.

When buying some new AirPods
When buying some new AirPods, I wanted to add them to my policy. The customer service team were really helpful and did this quickly, and it was really affordable as they gave me a discount for insuring more items!

AVOID this company!
After taking a new policy a few months ago, they decide to cancel my policy.
Their wordings:
"Due to underwriting requirements, we are regrettably having to stop insuring TVs going forwards. As you currently have a TV insured with us, you are impacted by this change."
They said they will refund my last premium and thats it. What an absolute con!

However, you have and still are benefitting from the insurance for the period of time you have paid for, and as a gesture of goodwill we offered you one month’s payment back. We gave you notice of the fact that your policy would not be renewing ahead of time, so that you have time to find insurance with an alternative provider.
In our email to you yesterday we did our best to address your concerns, and asked you to get in touch if you had any further questions or concerns. We are disappointed by the 1-star review, as we have done everything we can to ensure you have not been negatively impacted by this change.
