The best decision I ever made for my child
How do I put across in words just how incredible this place is?
My son is 7 years old and has been coming to Art K in Hove for almost a year now. In that time, I have seen him grow into a completely different child. My son has autism and in his own words has struggled to find his calm space, the “world is so noisy” sadly, this led to him speaking down on himself and having low confidence and self esteem - Richard and Helen have gone above and beyond for my son, they have not only made it logistically accessible for him to be able to attend, but they have given my son the best gift ever, every single time I go to collect him he has a confidence about his work, he is proud of himself and he said that he is apart of the “art family” what better gift could I ever ask for, than my son to feel empowered and to have found his belonging?
Finding art K and the teachers that work there, was easily the best decision I have made for my child, thank you so very much for everything you do and offer for the children - I couldn’t be more grateful to you all!

Great art course
My 9yold daughter is really enjoying her lessons. Her teacher is amazing and very supportive. I would highly recommend this to anyone with an arty child.

My child (10years) has just started an after school class with you and loves it! She is impressed with their individual approach to teaching, allowing the members of the group to get on with their own project with support as required, rather than everyone doing the same thing and ‘taught’ so much.

My daughter has been attending art-k for a couple of years now and I cannot fault them. The difference between art-k and the after school art class is the quality of the learning. As an official art school the materials, education, knowledge and expertise my daughter has been exposed to is first rate. If your child has a passion for art, I highly recommend art-k.

Confidence boosting
My daughter has really enjoyed her weekly session art class. Teachers are warm and welcoming as well as supportive of my daughter’s autism. The club has helped her gain more confidence in her self and abilities.

Great art class
My daughters, aged 7 and 9, really love their weekly art class. The teachers are kind and friendly, and the girls bring home some beautiful creations. Would definitely recommend!

My son looks forward to his class every week and is always so proud of his creations when he comes home. He and his older brother have also done the classes during half term and they love it too.

We are back , we joined Weekly class!
After summer workshops my son asked to attend a weekly session. He enjoyed the classes so much that he returns from September.
Helen is fabulous caring teacher and gives honest feedback to to a learner which my son appreciated very much.
