I’m surprised about the quality of the brand, being the first time I bought from it.
I ordered directly from France via the website and three days later it arrived home.

Excessive and unnecessary packaging
I bought two base layers which were perfect.
BUT each item came in unnecessary cardboard packaging. While alternative uses for the packaging were suggested, I would have preferred to have received the items without any packaging at all.
If the product is that good it doesn't matter what it's wrapped in!

Ordered a t-shirt for my wife but when…
Ordered a t-shirt for my wife but when it arrived it was clearly the wrong size - my fault. She went online and quickly arranged for a free exchange for a better fit. Shipped (free) back to Artilect and after allowing for long distance return shipping I contacted them and a few days later a perfect fit arrived. Good product, good customer service.

Better than just merino
I was already a fan of merino shirts, but this merino tencel blend is even better: softer and it holds better form as well. Very happy with these shirts. Bought them for multi day hiking cause unlike synthetic shirts, these won't smell and you can actually wear them multiple days and still feel fresh which is important is you travel (ultra) lightweight.

Wrong size sent, size ordered never in stock.
I ordered a size Large and a Small was sent. ‘Simple’, I thought, ‘I’ll just swap it for a Large - mistakes happen after all’.
There were no size Large in stock. I seriously doubt there were ever any size Large in stock. Could’ve just told me this so I wouldn’t have had to deal with the hassle of returning the item. It’s a PITA that could’ve been avoided.
