Poor customer service

Bought a pair of sneakers, sadly the soles split on both shoes within a week. Artisan Lab replaced the soles on each shoe and sent back, however the leather was scuffed and lightly ripped during the process.

I kindly sent an email with photos - no reply. Kindly followed up - no reply. Kindly warned them of the poor service and that I would be forced to post a review - no reply.

Sadly here is the poor review.

Once great. But today, DO NOT give your money away

I bought my first pair 3 years ago and i was as happy as a man can be about shoes : delivered when promessed, nice and good quality (as expected) and lived through a lot.

Thats why i decided to buy high top sneakers this time and did not even considered the competition. But it's been a month my shoes were supposed to ship and i can get no answer from the company after THREE requests for help on two mediums to reach them.

I do not know if i will get those shoes or if i have been robbed and need to take actions yet but do not give them money directly. I dont remember if you can go through paypal or not, but if not DO NOT ORDER.

No longer trustworthy

I've been a strong supporter of this brand since it first launched, and have probably ordered almost ten pairs over the years.

Delivery of my most recent order was delayed by a number of months (inital order place in mid-January). When it finally did arrive in April, it only included one of the two pairs ordered. I emailed them and was told the other pair would come soon, they never arrived. Multiple follow up emails were ignored, before I got a response from the founder (in July) apologising and telling me he'd send an update in "a few minutes", which never came. All subsequent emails ignored, and no refund for the pair that never arrived.

Very disappointed as I was a big fan of the shoes, but can't trust ordering from them any more.

Nightmare Company

Ordered shoes but they did not deliver them. Terrible customer service, no replies to my emails and I am having to issue a chargeback to my card to get a refund. Do not buy from Artisan Lab!

Elegant, sleek and comfortable

I was looking for a high quality elegant and sleek pair of white sneakers that didn't break the bank. I found Artisan Lab, gave it a go and I must admit I'm impressed, not only it is what I was looking for in terms of quality and design but it's also very comfortable.

Great customer service!

I have purchased recently 2 pairs of essential sneakers. One of them showed early on signs of extreme wear. After sending pictures of the issue to them the customer service was quite responsive and immediately send a replacement. For me personally my experience with their customer service has been great!

Poor customer service

Artisan Lab sneakers are high quality, on par with other Italian leather sneaker brands such as Common Projects. Unfortunately their customer service is abysmal. I’ve purchased from them before and recently I was gifted a pair of sneakers. The gifted sneakers were the wrong size and I attempted to return them (unworn and in original box/packaging). They refused to accept a return out of 30 day return window despite the circumstances. Their reply via email was rude saying “this is our final say on the matter”. While the quality of their product is top notch, their customer service is lacking. If you value good customer service, take your business elsewhere.

Yellowing sole, customer service ignores

Reached out to Artisan Lab after one sole started to turn yellow. Received a response the day after that they were going to check with the factory. Never heard anything back, even after sending like 3/4 reminders.

UPDATE: after some reminders they apologized and we were able to get to a solution that worked for the both of us. Thanks!

Criminals

I placed an order 12th May, I still have not received anything although of course my money was taken instantly. It's now 12th September. The customer service is a disgrace, they've offered absolutely no solution and most of the time have just ignored my emails. I've requested a refund and been ignored. I'd go as far as to say they're thieves.

Worst customer service EVER

I bought a pair of shoes that were too large. I attempted to exchange them. They gave instruction on how to return them to the UK from the USA. I had to pay $$$ (75 gbp) to return them. When they reached customs, Artisan lab refused to pay to have the shoes delivered to them. Customs wanted another $$ VAT charge from me. Here's where I truly have an issue, why give a customer that return instructions that YOU know won't work? Why would you leave your customer high and dry? All I've gotten from the company are snarky emails distancing themselves from any responsibility. Returns should NOT be that hard to do. The company should either, not ship to the US or simply state, No Returns. Bad Business Practice!!!

Worst Customer Service

Ordered a pair of trainers at the end of March, we’re now in May and I have still now received them!!

I emailed Artisan Lab and they responded after a few days informing me it would be shipped on 18th April and I should receive shipping updates. The email was very clearly a copy and paste, they used the wrong name (!)…. I heard nothing!

I chased them on 2nd May (5 weeks after my order was placed) and was immediately given a tracking number… the tracking number doesn’t work!

I went back to my order confirmation and I paid for 5 day shipping… it’s been 7 working days since the order was handed to DHL. I contacted the team again and they said they have no further updates, they can only see what’s on the tracking info.

The customer service is disgusting - the worst I’ve ever received.

I would expect a lot more from a company who charges £180+ for some of their product and markets themselves amongst premium brands.

This is the first and last time I order I’ll ever place an order with Artisan Lab.

Beyond disgusting

The shoes gave my feet blisters everywhere but Artisan Lab refused to process an exchange when I got in touch with them within a month of purchase — they said “We don’t accept returns after 14 days of receipt. I’m afraid this is our final say on this.”… terrible customer experience and now I spent £120 on shoes I’ll never wear again

Faulty product, with zero aftercare

I purchased the Classic Sneakers in black. After only 1 month and 4 wears, the right sole has developed a distinctive clicking sound with each step on a hard surfaces, almost like the sole has somehow split internally.

I raised this issue with the AL 'support' team via their online chat, and 2 emails, and have heard nothing back. Extremely poor customer support, and seemingly an extremely poor product.

This was my first AL purchase, and will be my last. I would advise people to avoid this company.

Scratched up and no Answer

The pair of Shoes I have ordered took one week to arrive. When they have arrived I opened the Box and saw marks and scratches on one Shoe. Straight away I contacted the Customer Service via E-Mail. One week later and I still have no answer to this Mail. Although it said that they would come back to me within 24 Hours. After all there was not even a dustbag or a separate pit of Laces included… Really bad Customer Service - I will not order again!
