Park and ride scam in Vienna

We parked at their park and ride at Ottakring in Vienna, the cost should be 3.4 euros per day but when we tried to pay it demanded 55 euros.
We called their 'helpdesk' but the guy kept saying we must have pressed the wrong button and we would have to pay 55 euros.
I pointed out that the ticket says 3.4 euros for park and ride but he just wasn't interested.
We finally got it sorted by the guy in the fitness centre who obviously knew of this problem.
We had planned on spending a few more days in Vienna but we've now decided to move on, I don't stay in places that allow scam companies like this to operate a public service.
We will be writing to the Vienna authorities about this, they must have ripped off thousands of tourists.
Scam company, avoid
