DO NOT USE!
They carried out work in our new home. Did not complete part of the invoiced job. We have been chasing them for a refund for the item not carried out and the MD refuses to respond, they do not take our calls and had no response. This renovation on our dream home was meant to be an enjoyable experience, but it’s been tainted by having to chase these for answers.
Don’t waste your money or time

Are attempting to charge me £216 for a site visit, just so I could get a quote to take away some already identified asbestos and refused to quote until I paid. They even sent one of their men to my door to collect payment... such awful threatening behaviour. Steer clear of this company!

I do not recommend this company. They will damage your property and will send someone round to ‘fix’ any problems that they caused. Unfortunately they only fixed 1 of the problems (a great length of time after the initial work was completed) and have refused to pay compensation for the problems they have caused. We wish we had gone for a better company to remove the asbestos, especially as there was also Artex left at the house. Save yourself hassle and money and choose a better company that actually care for your home.

Very poor service. Deeply misleading in what they were going to provide and then, as other reviewer have said, chipped our furniture and doors, left a stain on our carpet, and after they removed the ceilings unnecessarily, they left wires hanging down, dust coming down. Would recommend you use someone else with a professional attitude.

Really not good, delay after delay

If I had known the way this company works I’d had done it myself, I would have caused less mess and controlled the situation way better than these lads. The methodolody explained on their website and T&Cs is in the best case incorrect, and in worst case just plain lies. I was expecting professional operatives wearing full PPE that would remove the textured coating of my ceiling with chemicals and scrapers, who would be covering all areas with plastic and disposable equipment, mostly due to the delicate nature of the job, which is dealing with harmful airbone asbestos. I was expecting all this because this is what is explained on the documentation that comes along with the quote. But then… Nigel and his colleague arrived home and straightaway started hammering the asbestos-containing drywall ceiling, none of the other walls and surfaces were properly covered other than the floor, and they weren’t wearing PPE other than a respiratory mask, they walked all the way through my kitchen with their working clothes, one of the lads in an outsdanting move even shoke the dust from his boots in the kitchen after finishing the job!! When I argued with the company I was told I had misread the T&Cs and that they carry out these works many times a month in the same conditions without any issues. My face was a poem. Now I understand why poor Nigel had a persistent and worrying cough. I am truly shocked by the poor performance of this company who left me with the worry of lots of airborne asbestos everywhere and no ceiling on the hallway, which now I have to pay to have build back!! Minus 100000 stars! Avoid at all costs!!!

Yes they might be cheaper than other services, but there’s very good reason. The work was carelessly rushed and incomplete. Staff didn’t wear protective gear, left big pieces of asbestos behind and only worked 2 hours for the 2 days we were quoted. They damaged other parts of our property and forgot entire areas. The head office was aggressive and unsupportive of our concerns. We were very disappointed and left scared for our own health. Pay the extra price for a decent professional and you won’t be contributing to this awful business.

I would not recommend this company. I booked them to remove an asbestos roof from an outbuilding. The work was completed extremely carelessly with asbestos debris left behind. They did not use any protective equipment and tossed the roofing sheets into the back of a van without wrapping. The promised certificate of lawful disposal of asbestos never came. I should probably report them to the environment agency.

The worst experience ever. In my opinion, staff was rude. The job was done terribly. Avoid! Promised to do reassurance air testing, but this never happened. -5 stars
The building fire alarm has been triggered a few times because of dust.

We compared a lot of quotes on the asbestos garage removal. And all quotes were so expensive more than 2000 pounds + vats.

Asbestosgone answered our email about the quote very quickly - the same day, just in a couple of hours.

They made an estimation based on several good quality pictures we attached and information we provided about the garage - that was wonderful.

The price was just 2 times lower than we expected for this type of work! Plus they removed all rubbish that was inside the garage and even a bit from outside! They even double checked that no rubbish left after they finish their work.

The workers were very intelligent, they came exactly at the agreed time and were very polite. There was no noise at all during their work.

I would highly recommend asbestosgone company!

Great service, have used them twice now and are very effecient. Very reasonable priced and you are always kept up to date with the work.

David was very helpful with a quick turnaround time on the job and two return visits to provide emergency boarding at the site. He also recommended another contractor to help me resolve the problem. I would have no issue in recommending them. Good communication throughout the process.

Very reliable and outstanding work was produced. They was polite went they turned up and very professional. Highly recommend!
