Back in June 2025 I made a complaint to Asda. I felt encouraged that it was being looked into. Then all emails stopped. Issue was a mis-sold electric kettle advertised as Stainless Steel. Upon carrying out the Magnetic test it appeared not to be the case! Along with the fact that it was less than 3 years old it, stopped working! I've stopped buying from Asda for these such reasons! FYI Trust Pilot, don't you remove my review as its based on Fact and I have all emails available!
Sneaky
I used Asda groceries delivery quite often until they had increased their delivery charges. After one year on checking I was surprised to find these dropped from £ 3.50 to £ 1.50 which is acceptable and in line with other supermarkets. I went to order again and.....woila' prices up to £ 3.50 again.
These people working in the office think to be clever.
They enticed me back after 1 year and soon after back to their tricks. These people consider themselves clever, but they are plain silly.
Let's face it I can get £ 2 delivery from Waitrose or £ 1 from Sainsbury's why would I pay £ 3.50 to shop with bottom league Asda?
Roll Back as your logo says!
Long queue at tills so I walked out.
Went to the Asda store, Oadby, Leicestershire, and put a lot of groceries in the trolley. Went to checkout, only 1 was staffed, and there was a very long queue. Lots of staff wandering about but only 1 working on the checkout.
After a long wait, when queue did not move at all, I gave up and walked out leaving the trolley of groceries behind.
Appalling service, they just want you to do all the checking out yourself.
Went to nearby Sainsburys bought the groceries there with virtually no wait at the checkout as several were staffed.
Early bird didn't catch the worm!
Went in-store early, before any check outs were actual open, not that they open alot anyway..scanned on self service two packs of razors and bottle of Absolut vodka.Vodka scanned at £29.82 instead of clearly labelled £22.98 and razors showed original price at £3.36 each pack instead of £2.24...i think that is disgusting!..talk about blatantly ripping you off!.. mentioned it to a member of staff who really couldn't care less tbh.Asda isle of wight..get your system upgraded aswell as your staff!.

New app is complete waste of time and useless. Have tried for weeks to place an order to no avail even been advised on screen to change to another post code, defeats home delivery. Asda need to get their head out of the sand and accommodate their customers especially those who have stayed loyal . Go back to old way of ordering on line please
GAME OVER!!!!!
GAME OVER!!!!!! It gets worse!!!!! New update deleted all favourites. Now there’s a limit to the favourites. See you later Asda!!! Never shop with you again!!!
I had to leave my shopping & walk out
Had to leave £100 of groceries at the checkout at Asda Liverpool Smithdown Road as there was no one on the checkout. I was told that there were no staff available so I would have to scan the trolly of groceries myself which I did not have time to do so I just left it all and walked out. A waste of my time but this is not right, particularly for older people or people with a disability. So much for equity, diversity and inclusion at Asda. What a joke. I then went and did my shopping at Tesco where they had multiple checkouts open and I felt valued as a customer and a member of the local community. Shame on you Asda.
Constantly making the app worse
Some genius decided to ‘upgrade’ the app recently. Now I just get a page loading error and cannot get past it no matter what I try.
Paying for unlimited deliveries which I cannot use.
I placed an order online to be…
I placed an order online to be delivered between 8pm - 9pm which never arrived. I called asda's help line and was told a manager would call me in the morning between 8am-9am to arrange a new delivery slot. No manager has called its now 10.30am. No txt or email to say my delivery wasn't coming or sorry for the delay. Again I called the help line to be told my order has been cancelled and my money will be refunded in 3-5 days. I'm disabled and order by delivery for a reason. Now I need to wait 5 days just to get my money back before I can order again. Still no explanation to why it wasn't delivered or why its been cancelled. Asdas service has gone way downhill. I spend thousands of pounds in asda but will now be taking my custom elsewhere.
Updated website is a disaster!
I had no problems ordering delivery of groceries for the past two years, but suddenly after their "upgrade" I am blocked from accessing Asda's website.
What genius decided to block it's customers from buying groceries! Time to check out Tesco etc.
New Website Is Rubbish!
The new and 'upgraded user friendly' website and App are completely useless and incredibly frustrating to use.
To get the price for an item on the same page as the actual item view (From search results) you have to make the screen size tiny! Then when you go to 'Add' your screen scrolls down and judders all over the place.
Booking a slot has the same issues and jumps all over the place when you are trying to select a slot and date.
While I appreciate these 'glitches' may be due to the new system, surely this was tested in-house before releasing to the actual customers.
Was far too awkward and time consuming for me today, so I shopped elsewhere and paid the extra!
IF ITS NOT BROKE DON'T FIx IT.
We are a Disabled household.
The easiest way for us to grocery shop is on line.
Asda never caused any problem with deliveries/time slot until now with their updated web system, if it's not broke don't fix it. Today our delivery 3.00 - 4.00 is delayed and that's it, no reason, so will I get my order or not?
UPDATE> Yes received my delivery. Arrived three minutes past 4.00 and lovely delivery driver we asked him what was the problem and he did not know anything about the delay or any message that had been sent to us. He looked most surprised. So I hope this problem does not happen again.
Asda , useless again.
Ordered £40 of food using Asda gift card from Prezzee, no order was generated but they took the £40 pound from gift card , so now going back and forth between Prezzee and Asda to get my money back , hope Asda read all the negative reviews there getting.
Terrible online ordering.I have been…
Terrible online ordering.I have been using it for years and as a rule it has been ok.
The past few days I have not been able to do anything with the online system as far as ordering /amending food.It will not take payment.
Like many I have a prepaid slot which I will require payment back for non service.I do not expect them to agree!
Asda is a problem at the moment.
Customers services never answer the phone , no doubt they are overwhelmed.
The number on my display shows petrol station no?
Upgraded app is useless
Upgraded online shopping app is infuriatingly sluggish. There's a pause EVERY time you add/remove a product. The results of a search are completely random, and don't include what you are looking for. Items in offers don't show when you click on the offer. There are ALWAYS several substitutions/unavailable items. The best before dates are aweful. Had many a missing item too. Do better ASDA!
They’ve updated the website and app
They’ve updated the website and app. I’m unable to amend my grocery order, can’t even cancel it to reorder with the additional things I need. I’ve tried contacting via X and Facebook messenger, but had no response. Absolutely appalling service.
Delivery didn't turn up twice!
Delivery late twice, then never turned up then never turned up again. No way to email or write to them. Customer service hardly speaks English and all they do is give you a £10 voucher - they won't even rebook delivery. Awful, awful service.
