What a cowboy outfit

We sent a parcel from our local post office using DPD . Asendia then took it to Sweden. We very clearly marked the customs label as "GIFT" as it was a 75th birthday present for a female recipient in Sweden. She was extrememy annoyed that she had to pay 210 SEK to get the parcel from Postnord because Asendia had affixed another customs label on it saying it was a SALE. It was not. It was a birthday present. My wife will reimburse the recipient the 210 SEK when she travels to Sweden later this year. So a £36 birthday gift has now cost is a further £26 on top. Because of this we will no longer be sending any gifts at all to Sweden in future because of what Asendia did. DPD are not interested in helping and blame it on the Post Office. Corruption at its worst.

yet another item vanished in transit

Why Amazon continue to use this appalling service for items coming from US to UK is beyond me.
My package seems vanished after arriving in the UK with no further tracking after that Then for long time they insist it is 'delayed', when it is clearly actually lost and they have no idea where it has got to.
Given the volume of items not being delivered, they must either have a massive storage facility full to the ceiling, or someone is stealing things on an industrial scale and they are just not concerned enough to sort that out.

Never delivered package despite collecting my customs fee for it. Never answered emails from selling company or myself on missing package. Had to go through PayPal to file complaint for customs to be refunded.

Truly awe-inspiringly bad service

Truly awe-inspiringly bad service. Presumably they are now on borrowed time. A company this incapable of doing what they 'do' will soon be consigned to history, remembered only in seminars as an illustration of how not to run a business.

Empty unsealed prime envelope, a scam

Supposed to contain a cd, empty unsealed amazon prime envelope. Expensive postage, UK to NZ.

Days of chat and phone calls, no resolution. Sent an incident report as requested by Amazon.com (US) , read by AI MMI, asked humans to read, would not read or look at beyond asking for a tracking number no longer avaiable on the website. Photos of the unsealed envelope etc in the incident report. No action because of tracking number, so they have my money, I have no cd. That's it as far as they are concerned.

Asendia Ltd/unlimited prison calls

Asendia Ltd, have taken over from unlimited prison calls changing banking details. I made payment to the old bank account, my mistake. Almost immediately I received an email informing me of my mistake, and that they would return the monies paid to this account. I am still waiting for the payment to be refunded, a week later, why are you holding on to monies! You should/could have returned it immediately. We ALL have faster banking payment services. My payment needs to be refunded, ASAP!
Also I haven't been able to receive calls from the prison, as you have not reinstate d my calling plan, although I have sent chat messages. Also sentng a reply to the email you sent to me, in regard to the retuning of payment made to the incororect account. YOUR custoner service, is not of service if we can only send chat messages that are not live, so you have to wait until one of the few agents available, can respond to you 24hrs later. Which can be up to 3 days later. When I signed up with you, I was able to have a live chat, and issues were resolved straight away. Very sad for all all, (us), whom desperately want to be able to have contact with their family member's for a more afordable price, that the prisons provide., when things crash, we're back to paying extortionate prison rate prices to receive, and enjoy a call.
Family maybe priceless, but you will pay extravagantly to communicate if they are incarcerated!

Unreliable delivery company

My first and hopefully last experience with Asendia. Stated my package was delivered, but was home at the time, randomly tracking was updated that evening but still no package. Really unreliable, misleading delivery emails, wish companies would not use them for UK delivery, there are so many better couriers.

Never respond to anything

I wanted to send a parcel to Belgium to arrive before Christmas so decided to use DHL, huge mistake. Unbeknown to me, DHL decided to use Asendia as a "partner courier". That's where tracking and progress ends. No tracking update in days, no response to emails from either DHL or Asendia. No chance my parcel will be delivered at all, let alone before Christmas. Avoid both companies

Update 1: Asendia have manged to address the parcel incorrectly, removing the district and correct postcode and adding one that doesn't even fit the right format for Belgium. That may well make the parcel undeliverable

I received a book via Evri today which arrived on time so no complaints there. However, Asendia (Inbound) Huxloe were the packers and it was very badly packed. All the corners are damaged (slightly) which is a bit annoying as it’s a gift for my 6 year old granddaughter.

Ass-endia.

The vendor used them as their delivery partner. Big mistake. 2 different orders, neither delivered and zero updates to the parcels once they reached the "asendia facility".

Completely useless

Completely useless!

They don’t respond to emails. I’ve bought things and the sender has used Asendia, they don’t deliver and claim to have an “incorrect or incomplete address” when the address is completely fine!

They need to be investigated! I would give it 0 stars if it were possible

Incompetent usless liars!

I really wish that online shops would stop using Asendia for shipping.
My order was held up with them for 5 days, on my tracking it said awaiting customs payment. They did not send me a notification or email with an invitation to pay the charge. I tried ringing and emailing to no avail. They are in contactable by phone.
It states on the website that they allow 30 days to pay a duty before they return an item to sender. They did this without notice and without an opportunity to even pay the duties which I would have gladly done in order to receive my package.
I asked if they could please help me pay the charge and the agent that emailed me in response was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. Told me that my order was being returned right now and there is nothing anyone can do. So tough luck! And they lied to me and said they sent me 3 emails, I checked my junk/spam mail and all inboxes had nothing from them. Extremely incompetent company. Worse than useless. Awful awful experience

Lost both my orders

I have been a customer at Military1st for 10 years with a very long purchase history, until what I'm about to write happened.

In June 2023 I made an order for some gear from Military1st in UK and they sent it to Asendia for shipping to Portugal, after a month without any other tracking details other than "parcel received" I contacted DPD which was handling local delivery and they said they never received anything from Asendia. Once I contacted Military1st they told me the parcel was being returned due to an address issue. Four months later the parcel still hasn't returned. I asked for a refund from the seller and they were kind enough to give it to me so I said a prayer and repurchased the items.

Guess what, nearly a month later same issue with this order too, and once I contacted the seller they again told me the parcel was being returned. No updates ever since.

I was exceedingly patient, but patience is of no use with this company.

On a side note I did get the delivery address wrong, I forgot to specify the door number for delivery, but lets be practical, Asendia was only handling the international shipping, and any mishap with the address can be rectified later once the first delivery attempt fails with the local delivery service, it wasn't their issue to worry about, they were only tasked with getting the shipments handed over to DPD.

On June 2024 the seller still hasn't received any of the parcels and provided no refund this time on account of me admitting I didn't specify a full address. Its understandable on their behalf, I would have done the same thing if I were them. But since they are using Asendia to handle their shipments it meant I can no longer purchase from them, we parted ways respectfully.

TL;DR - Stay the hell away from this delivery firm, they lost two expensive orders I made and don't even bother to answer customer support emails.

Absolutley the worst postal service…

Absolutley the worst postal service ever! A parcel from the US arrived at thier facility in Langley UK on 24th June, cleared customs which is next door to them and back to them on 26th June. No tracking update or anything one week later and I still havent recieved my parcel todayJuly 3rd, considering they are less than 40 minute drive from where I am.. its unbelievable! ZERO customer service, tried for nearly an hour to get through. Nobody answers phone, sent email, will be a miracle if they answer. How can these pople be in business??? Do they not realize the stress and anguish it causes people waiting for parcels.. Will send a complaint to office of fair trading and also to ombudsman and anyone else who can see what a farce this operation is! I am FURIOUS!

Worst nightmare ever.

Worst nightmare ever.
I got a Hungarian courier msg that items are coming from '4Biliard', stated as a Sender.
Called them as definetly has not been order anyting from a Slovakian biliard and snooker company. They confirmed. I called the courier, they stated sender is Asendia UK. No prior msg what they are about to send.
After arguing with the unlucky postman that only small portion of sportsdirect goods arrived, took them and was waiting for the other parcel.
Later that day info was provided package will arrive soon...
So was waiting for the other parcel- which was not dispatched, no shipping info, simply stated returned to sportsdirect on the very same day... No evidence on shpping provided by sportsdirect, no willingness to pay back the huge shipping cost on goods that enver found me.
