How can the staff at the surgery be so incompetent it, beggars belief. A consultant secretary sent a medical letter apparently not received. I sent a copy of the medical letter by email. I checked the email address over and over again. I phoned up to be told they hadn't received it. What are the staff doing i ask myself? I now have to go to the library print out the letter and send it by special delivery because they can't be trusted. They are in the dark ages. We are all busy and stressed but do your job please. All this has taken a month.

Today I had the real misfortune to have an appointment with Doctor James Wylie at Ashgrove medical centre in Llanelli.
I have few operations coming up and have really suffered with my mental health for years.
I have server anxiety.
I was asking for a DNR as my life is so very sad, lonely and depressing.
I have made no secret of the fact that if someone said when you go to bed tonight and turn the light off you can have the option of never waking up again I would jump at the chance.
I am not suicidal, I am just so broken and cannot fix the pain and no sleep by myself.

Doctor Wylie did not ask me why I wanted the DNR.
I did try to explain but he wasn't going to listen.
I tried to tell him that my Nan was murdered and my daughter was brutally attacked and left for dead.
He replied "SO"
That is just 1% of things I have been through.

He then said it's a joke you wanting a DNR put in place, you are basically saying to have nothing to live for I replied exactly. He repeated it's just a joke and stupid and on about murder.
Is this man of sound mind himself?
He certainly is not fit for purpose.

He said no-one in his 20 years of being doctor has ever asked for a DNR to be put in place under these circumstances and I might not even give you one now.
He never even read my medical files, all he kept saying was I should have come in with a list of things that I needed help with.
I replied that I had done that before and the lady doctor smirked when I handed it to her and refused to read it.

He kept saying this will take 15 mins and that will take an hour.

I said that I was now smoking again, 20-25 cigarettes a day, He Replied "And "

I also mentioned that I had been prescribed Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride for my insomnia. I had become very unwell and went to speak to a pharmacist who said the tablets should have never ever been prescribed to me as I take Citalopram.
The two together are a complete No No. This time he just shrugged his shoulders.

He made me feel as I wasn't worth his time.

This horrible man was so rude, patronising and really wasn't interested in helping and doing what he is paid to do.
I told him how he was making me feel and said he was rude, had no compassion and was so patronising .
I did not use any foul language nor did I raise my voice, I was just crying out of sheer frustration.
He relied Wow and I was willing to give you a weekly appointment for 3-4 weeks like he was doing some massive favour.
He said he would make me an appointment with another doctor.

Dr Wylie then tore up the DNR and with his hand gestured me to the door to leave I then said are you going to make me the appointment you have just suggested.
I can guarantee I am not the only person he has spoken to like this as he was so natural at being rude, dismissive and lacks any form of empathy.

I moved to Wales four years ago. I have no friends here and have so many illnesses that it would take an hour to list them.
I am in chronic pain every day and night.
I can't sleep. I have been up since yesterday at 9.00am (5th of Nov)
I still have not managed to get any sleep. That's 34 hours I have been awake.
This is a daily occurrence. I am awake for up to 42 hours.
Sleeping tablets only work for a maximum of 45 minutes or not at all because the pain is so server.

He said I was low mood and I replied how you like to be alone everyday all day in chronic pain and not being able to sleep. It's like being tortured.
He made a flippant remark which I cannot remember as I was still crying.
I am not looking for sympathy as I would hate that I would like a reason to live.
