Terrible customer service

We bought the Trapezium rug (200 x 290) from one of their authorised retailers, and within a year the rug developed a fault. It appears that adhesive from the backing is migrating into the pile. It initially appeared as a single patch, but several more have since developed. The substance is a sticky brown residue.
We had a professional rug cleaner assess and clean it, and he confirmed that the issue is glue coming through from the backing. We contacted the company via the retailer, providing photos, but our complaint was completely dismissed. They claimed it was simply a stain and advised us to clean the rug.
I explained that we had already taken this step and that the professional cleaner was unable to remove the marks because the adhesive is coming from deep within the rug itself. Despite this, the company maintained their position and refused to acknowledge the fault.
The rug is beautiful and certainly not inexpensive, yet we are now left with a white/cream rug marred by unsightly, sticky, hardened glue patches. The company’s refusal to take responsibility for what is clearly a manufacturing defect has been extremely disappointing. Overall, this has been very poor customer service.

Not good quality

I’ve bought two rugs from a retailer supplied by Asiatic. Both rugs were not of a very good quality. I’ve sent several emails to them but they will not respond. The one time they did respond they told me to contact the retailer which I did and they replaced rug only for the same fault to appear. I just wanted an explanation to why this was happening. I would not use this company
