While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

I completely lost trust in ASUS service.
In Hungary, we are used to terrible customer service, especially from international customers, but Asus are their way to setting a new low.
Our laptop needed to be examined for a potential repair, so we paid the fee and Asus arranged collection from our home.
Rather than making a repair to a poor solder, they told us they could only replace the whole motherboard, and quoted us much more than the market rate.
When pressed, they sent us the a report on their rational with photographs -- seems odd that that was not provided up front.
So, we requested a return of the laptop.
We were given a tracking number, which we kept an eye on -- for a week.
"Your package has been delivered," said the courier, but it had not been delivered.
We enquired of Asus, and were then told by Asus that we had not supplied Asus with our address, and so would be charged for re-delivery.
We were told this by either an individual ("Zsolt_G") who cannot write the most basic of Hungarian sentences, or by a low-quality AI. We suspect the later, since no Hungarian we've ever met either gets basic articles wrong or signs their name in the Western style. (My family contains teachers and school children, as well as a student of Hungarian, so we see some very bad Hungarian).
When we pointed out that Asus collected the laptop from our address, we were told that we had not spotted that they had no included our street name on a written quote, so it was our fault, and we would have to pay for re-delivery.
We took exception to the expectation that we proof read this multinational corporation's written quotes, and demanded the laptop be returned post haste to the address we supplied them when we first made contact.
Eventually, we received the laptop.
I now look at my Asus laptop, my Asus PC, my multiple Asus telephones with disgust.
Of course, they will not give a hoot that they have lost another customer, but I hope you, gentle reader, read this and act with caution when considering this organization as a recipient of your hard-earned money.
