There is a person using a plugin to hack accounts and raid aternos servers and when i report it to them i get and i quote "Stop spamming" "The people deserve it" "As long as it doesnt damage our services" "Its a cracked server / we have a bunch of servers it doesnt matter" worst customer experience ever do not use aternos.

really slow servers always shut off servers. asked why they were shutting off on their discord and they were rude and always saying i broke rules even though i checked and i didn't. very disappointing.

Seriously, absolutely horrible experience. Queue time is unbearable, Slow server with even good ping and internet (15~ ms), and cant add your own mods. (especially excellent crates)

The chunks were loanding really slow the entire time. Also we stopped playing for a few months and now the server is deleted. That is unforgivable! I really hope they fix this problem.

At first, it was good. The experience was smooth and easy to use. However, after so many months, it started to get worse. The queue times became unbearably long, and the service started lagging. It's disappointing to see how things have deteriorated over time. Wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for reliability anymore.

Aternos has its fair share of issues, but its perfect for the 2 week phase, people who are complaining lowk j expecting too much from a FREE server

We wasted like 1 week grinding and got the best gear made huge builds and then one day when i was gonna log on. The whole server was reset. Never use aternos.

Pros:

You can have a lot of players on your free server, It is free(unless you get the paid version), SOME plugins can be helpful, can connect same server to Java and Bedrock, Etc...

Cons:

The plugins aren't the best, there are ads everywhere, unless you have an adblocker but then it shows you a stupid adblocking screen for 5 seconds every time you reload the page. It is pretty leggy, and isn't the greatest with building because it glitches. I really wish I could upload my own plugins and such. I really wish Aternos could be better, I think they could.

I can say its just normal minecraft hosting Why you all typing bad comments if you want best hosting you can pay but its for free i dont really like that the server starting is really long you cant download backups

its free thats y its 2 stars but you deleted my server and the plugins crash the server there are more but im not gonna waste my time n this

daamn it aternos i used to play in aternos servers it takes too much time to start but now it quickly starts

Performance is awful and it deleted our 200 day server. But it's probably the best free hosting.

I cannot believe what just happened. I won't forgive aternos about that incident. I had a 200 day hardcore server, which it was one of the biggest accomplisments in my life, and i created this masterpiece, only to find out that ATERNOS HAD DELETED MY WORLD BECAUSE I DIDN'T USE IT FOR A MONTH. Aternos your service system is tremendously horrific, you just corrupt servers because you have zero experience in programming, the delete system is a superflous disgust. AND I BET ATERNOS WILL ACT LIKE IT'S MY FAULT BECAUSE THEY DO NOT WANΤ TO ADMIT THEIR FAILURE. JUST REMOVE THIS FEATURE.

It's a free server hoster so the performance is not great I get that but I don't get why you can't let us edit the files for plugins and I also don't get why your plugins tab is so awful, you have some massive improvements to make aternos

Its taking sooo long to start the server also is soooooo laggy i recommend switching to freemcserver

Cannot complain about server speed and stuff, since free plan is working out well. If compared to earlier times, when I used it, Aternos has improved it's startup time and server speed also. If I am right, then it has 2.4 or 2.5GB of RAM, and it's totally free. For example: I am hosting 1.21.3 version server and it has 2,45GB RAM. Suitable amount of RAM to play with a couple of friends.

The server took way too long to start up, what a waste of time. Improve your loading times please aternos, I hate this

Aternos is simply the best, it's totally free, it's capacity is amazing, and I have nothing to say! Keep up the good work!

It's bad overall, It's filled with glitches and bugs. It has once teleported me in the void because I was going down a flight of stairs quickly, and also teleported me into a lava pit.
