Over the past two years At Home Support Services has cared for my husband with kindness, efficiency and thoughtfulness. They have supported me in caring for him when I could not. They support me in caring for him so I do not have to do the things which I am no longer able to. I trust the company and their carers integrity and willingness to listen to my concerns and act upon them quickly, if I have any at all. In my specific situation communication is key so I don’t hesitate to discuss options where, for instance, timings have become problematic but with discussion these have been resolved. After all we each need to understand both sides of the situation. We are at a happy point in our working relationship.

For over six years, At Home Support Services have provided outstanding care for my elderly mother, enabling her to live independently within the comfort and familiarity of her own home. The carers consistently demonstrate great kindness and compassion, ensuring an excellent standard of care, which is further supported by Gladys and the office team, who are always on hand, and whose communication, experience and understanding are truly exceptional. We are hugely grateful to At Home Support Services for all that they do for my mother and the family.

My Husband receives personal care due to him having MS, the carers that visit him are aware of his careplan, with dignity & respect.

We used At Home Support Services for the 24/7 care of an elderly family member for two months. Our carer was very kind, respectful, and professional. Her training and experience were evident in everything she did—whether providing personal care, offering warm companionship, ensuring comfort at all times, or managing medications with diligence. The thoughtful way she cared for our loved one brought immense comfort during the final stage of life and meant so much to our family. Knowing she was treated with patience and compassion gave us great peace of mind.

Communication was excellent. We appreciated the daily written reports and the open, easy exchanges with both the carer and the company. The team always kept us informed and discussed any updates or concerns. On top of this, the company was very flexible, for instance, able to arrange additional night cover at very short notice whenever it was needed.

We wholeheartedly recommend this company if you are looking for a trustworthy and reliable care service for an elderly family member. Their professionalism, support, and kindness made an incredibly challenging time so much easier for us.

I have been incredibly impressed with the care my son has received from At Home Support Services. The management team are both professional and approachable, always taking the time to listen and support us as a family. The care staff show genuine compassion, attention, and dedication to my son, and they quickly became like part of our family.

We especially appreciate how willing the carers were to engage in training with NHS services to upskill around my son’s specific needs. They consistently follow instructions, take advice on board, and work in partnership with us to ensure he receives the very best care.

In the event we did not take on Athomesupportservices as the deterioration in health and layout of the property led us to conclude that the customer would be better served in a Care Home. However there was a considerable urgency to the decision and the speed and depth of reaction by Gladys with a structured proposal for an at home solution was a great comfort which we might well have proceeded with in other circumstances.
