This review is for the Atlantic Medium…

This review is for the Atlantic Medium to Large Luggage.
Unfortunately, the lightweight aluminum handle does NOT seem strong enough to hold 50 lbs, the maximum for this luggage per airline checked luggage rules. I assume Atlantic Luggage made it flimsy to make a lighter to fit with the overall light luggage profile. But it is the luggage's weakest point and I don't recommend buying it.
Other than that, it is just an OK luggage. Sure it is very light for a hardside luggage (8.2 lbs) but what's the use of that if you capitalize on this lower weight to fill it with 41.8 lbs to get to a total pf 50lbs, only to take the risk of breaking the handle? Bottomline: The entire benefit of lower weight luggage is compromised by the really flimsy aluminum handle. The first thing you notice is, wow, this luggage is so light, great. the second thing you notice is - this handle is so flimsy, it is so likely to break especially if the bag is filled so it is 50lbs.

Atlantic luggage is built to last

Atlantic luggage is built to last. The materials are lightweight yet sturdy, with smooth-rolling wheels and handles that don’t wobble. I’ve dragged mine through airports, train stations, and cobblestone streets, and it still looks great. The zippers are robust, which is a must when you’re packing for a “just in case” scenario.
