Kara the customer service person is the best one out there. I had bit of difficulty getting the parcel collected at first but once Kara took over, it really went smoothly. Thanks again Kara for you... See more

Did not Honour Insurance Cover nor Obtain Signature
Paid for Insurance and signature on delivery on order/invoice 2864154. Courier Scan stated 'signed for by letter box'. I never received the package yet I was in my office with the door wide open waiting for the delivery. Interparcel did not compensate me- AUD $1078.35 for the lost/stolen package. I found interparcel evil and dishonourable. IMO don't use these shonks as insurance and signature on delivery means nothing to them. They are not willing to collect a signature when delivering nor pay out insurance when they lose the package.
Complete lack of authority with their carriers
Complete lack of authority with the freight companies used. Pickups booked well over week ago still not being collected, despite changing carriers on their platform to more "reliable carriers". Generic responses to specific questions, customer service staff the only point of contact and they have limited info and authority to act, but they do the best they can. Fine when everything works hence 2 star review, but as soon as anything goes wrong it stays that way and causes major headaches and angry customers. Fix it
Okay service until something goes wrong: no customer service
I have been shipping with Interparcel for at least half a decade. This year, I accrued $1088 in shipping costs with them. This is mainly because I add insurance to expensive parcels for overseas colleagues to ensure our peace of mind.
The 5 star reviews are all from people who received one-off parcels without any issues. All the mediocre and bad reviews are from customers who needed post-sales support, therefore our reviews carry a lot more weight.
They went from mediocre to worse in recent years – Interparcel was pretty good years ago, and even somewhat reliable during covid-19. At some point, the service quality started to decline.
1. I had a parcel shipped from China, they claimed it was 1cm off from our measurements and charged me $36. My friend who shipped it measured the parcel with a tape measure and it matches the size of the box. TNT measures the parcel using cameras. The size difference was WELL within normal tolerances.
2. I shipped a camera that is worth $3600 to a colleague. FedEx lost or misplaced it. Interparcel never informed me. Tracking was at a stalemate for over a week. I had to call FedEx at 3am to learn that they had never received a notification to find out the parcel had been misplaced. After a week of useless reply templates and calling local FedEx, they found it and then shipped it off. Now, the USA customs under Trump's regime decided to seize my parcel because I included a couple of cables I MADE using parts from China, declared honestly. You are penalised for being honest nowadays. Again, I had to call them at 3-5am due to time zone and work commitments. Interparcel did not help at all. They provided hardly any post-sales support, and quite frankly, they are out of their depth. This months-long delay resulted in zero compensation for the time and stress we had to go through. Most services will just issue a 10% off coupon to tell the customer to buzz off, which honestly would have made me happier.
3. I recently shipped some parts to Trump's America during AusPost's shutdown. This was 3 months ago. I called Interparcel prior to shipping so I can confirm that FedEx will be collecting the tariff/duties from the customer. I was NOT told that the customer can refuse to pay the tariff while keeping the item. I was NOT told that I would then have to pay for it. Exactly this happened, which landed me a $72 charge. Interparcel said I can dispute the payment with FedEx after I pay the invoice.
Here is the invoice (with sensitive parts redacted). Dear... A recent FX Priority shipment that you sent to USA has incurred additional charges. Destination charges ... Conversion Rate: USD-AUD 1.5514 US customer refuses payment As a result, an invoice for $72.24 has been issued. We completely understand that unexpected charges can be frustrating - we feel the same. This fee covers additional costs passed on to us by the courier for your shipment. If you believe this is incorrect, reply within 14 days with evidence so a dispute can be raised with the carrier.
This came as a total shock. The parcel was shipped in September.
During the AusPost shutdown, Interparcel advertised itself as an alternative that would handle this for you. No fine print, none of this was previously communicated to the customer. Turns out you pay almost double for worse.
Additionally, how am I supposed to provide or find "proof" to dispute this when the parcel was received THREE MONTHS AGO? Are you insane?
4. They do make cold calls to advertise. This never happened until recently. Shipping just 3 parcels in the month when Australia Post shut down its services does not make me a professional shipper. Thank you.
Stick with AusPost and Zonos integration for your parcels and upcharge your customer. Do not bother with Interparcel. For alternatives, look at KOI and Ship2Anywhere. If you want to receive parcels from the USA, I highly recommend Pirate Ship. Their rates are great, the staff there are wholesome and behold, they will REFUND you a difference if the parcel's dimensions were LESS than you have declared. I am not even kidding. I messed up the unit conversion and received a nearly $50 refund because it worked out to 30% more dimensional weight. They will still charge you if you underdeclare, but that is fair enough in my book. I have never received an invoice exceeding $10.
parcel wrongly addressed
We received a parcel which was wrongly addressed.
The parcel had 'Aramex' on the label - when I went into the Aramex website it led me to Interparcel. Talei followed it up for me and kept me in the loop. She advised that Aramex would be in contact with me directly. I advised everything that was on the Parcel label as I thought it might be a Christmas present for someone - I also tried to contact the sender and sent an email to the email address on the website - but no answer - Aramex have never contacted me but Talei did her best - I will ask around the neighbourhood to see if anyone knows a person by the name it was addressed to. So for Talei I am giving this rating - but not sure about Aramex or Interparcel.
Just don't use them
My overnight package (charged at overnight pricing) took a week to arrive. Despite reaching out numerous times as I was waiting for a medical device that was urgent, I only got a customer service response when I was about to publish a bad review..Do NOT recommend. They have no accountability (they basically blamed FedEx) . No offer of a refund -even a partial one..
Charged an Oversize Fee With No Evidence Provided
Interparcel added an “oversize” surcharge to my shipment without providing any proof from the carrier. They refused to show measurement logs or photos, even after I supplied Amazon’s confirmed carton dimensions which contradicted their claim. They kept demanding photos of boxes that were already delivered, making the dispute process impossible to follow. This whole process feels like it’s designed to pressure customers into paying fees that can’t be verified. Very poor handling overall — I’ve filed complaints with regulators
The Most Unreliable Courier Booking Service in Existence
If you value your time, your customers, or your sanity, avoid Interparcel at all costs. They regularly fail to collect consignments that were properly booked, paid for, and ready for pickup. This isn’t a one-off — it’s a recurring nightmare.
Every time you trust them to do their one simple job — collect and deliver — you end up with uncollected parcels sitting for days, zero communication, and support that seems to exist only to say “we’ll raise a ticket.” Those tickets go nowhere. Nothing happens. No apology, no action, no accountability.
It’s unbelievable how a company in the logistics industry can be so consistently unreliable. The system automatically takes your money and issues labels instantly, but apparently, actually collecting the goods is optional.
If you need a courier that shows up when they say they will, Interparcel is not it. They have wasted hours of my time, let down my customers, and cost my business money.
Bottom line: Interparcel should not be trusted with any consignment of value — or even a box of air. Their service failures are frequent, predictable, and utterly unacceptable.
Taina was brilliant
Taina was brilliant. Had trouble finding a delivery address in U.K., she found it and entered all the address info and sent me back the quote. I just filled in my parts and all done. SUPER!!!
response quickly.
The worst customer service
The worst customer service I've experienced from a courier company, and that's saying something. Our packages went missing weeks ago and since then, the company has done nothing except give us empty promises to follow things up. Their emails talk in circles about issues that have already been covered and feel like they're writen by a bot.
Interparcel - Poor responsiveness and lack of interest in resolving problem
Interparcel service provider took 15 days to deliver a parcel from Sydney to Melbourne. It had 2 cartons in the shipment. Courier delivered 1 parcel and 2nd returned to me (sender). Raised it with interparcel with all proof but interparcel team is investigating with courier and no-one from interparcel interested to answer when they will get back to me and when this will be resolved.

Failed overnight delivery no satisfaction from customer service, Collected and processed 22/9/2025 17.04pm and today is now 24/9/2005.Still no delivery, Excuse is Driver ran out of delivery time at 15.37pm on 24/9/2025 1 day after next day promise. delivery misinformed information that is not true blames Fed X for failed delivery Fed X blames interparcel Interparcel not taking accountability.
Paid $100 for overnight service now in day 2 still no answers when it will be delivered despite being on board with driver which failed. Long 6 hours on phone being cut off 3 times. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY as they tell you misleading information and then tell you they have to go home at 4.00pm and cannot assist any further. Very Poor Customer service and no resolve.
A company that doesn’t care about the little people
Very, Very bad company I have never sent anything overseas before it was very confusing for an old person without a computer & this is their business. I paid the money that they wanted & 3 weeks later after it’s been delivered, they want another $200 from me !!!!

The courier missed pickup 3 times which delayed this delivery significantly. However, Sani was very helpful in the process of reordering and monitoring the booking.
Highly recommend
I’ve always had an excellent experience with Interparcel when having boxes delivered from Sydney to Melbourne.
Their customer service is also very responsive if there are any issues.

Worst experience I have ever had
Worst experience I have ever had. Don't use this company. I o KY gave one star because I couldn't give zero. They kept saying my parcel had been delivered when it hadn't been. Kept sending me unrelated proof of deliveries telling me the matter was closed because they had proof of delivery which was to a totally different person and country. Promised z refund in writing of freight costs due to the stress they had caused. When I followed up about where the refund was, I was told I wasn't getting one as that was meant for someone else not me. Stay away. Nothing they ever said was true or correct. Total incompetence throughout.
