We ordered 160 pcs of microchip microcontroller devices from CANADA that they had in stock and has been in stock for months based on octoparts.com We are in electronics business for more than 12 years. After a considerable delay (2 business days) we received a questionnaire regarding compliance.
We filled it and sent it back and did not hear back another 2 business days and then were told we passed compliance and order is a go. More than 5 business days later we received an email that order is cancelled because either parts are not in stock or price has changed. They even did not care to be more specific and offer an alternative! This is the worst distributor we have dealt with in the last 5 years even worst than covid era! We have all the email trail and screenshots if anyone is interested to see them.
