I use the interface as a keyboardist at live gigs in conjunction with a mini PC. I use the four inputs for comfortable in-ear monitoring (band mix + stereo microphone pair for Athmo). Phantom power wi... See more

Everything except firmware updating is perfect.
Quality and features are really good.
Firmware update didn't work and it took a time to figure out how to do it via another app

I bought this interface because of the Loopback function, but unfortunately when I screen record my Mac with built-in screen recorder Or QuickTime Player the sound go out to the right speaker only (in the screen record video) which I don’t know what’s wrong. Other than that great interface so far
EVO 4 review
The EVO 4 is a very intuitive product, easy to set up, packed with useful features and cool promotions for programs that enhance the musical experience. The user guides are informative and concise, and the tutorial videos offer great insight to additional features. Thank you for a great experience!
Great sound, annoying user experience
Re: ID 14 MK II - The sound is great, the user interface is annoying.
No low latency monitoring unless you use their ID.app which is very buggy (on Mac OS Tahoe anyway, open and restart two to four times to get the mixer to appear as an option)
Headphone volume is too low to be useful for hearing mic input over playback (Audio Techinica 38 ohm)
There are several reddit and youtube suggestions on how to tweak the setting to get more volume. I have not had time to figure it out yet. On my MOTU M-2, I turn one knob for correct volume mix in an instant.
The infinity knob that controls volume resets itself to very low constantly and the trick is to turn the knob several revolutions to get the volume back up.
I had to google the problem that I had zero volume and I found numerous complaints of others that thought the device was defective. I had thought that I would have to return it until I came across an answer that you must turn the dial a ridiculous number of times to get any volume. If there are many many web complaints online, I would call this a defect in design.
All in all the sound is great, but i think I may spend a little more soon to get a controller with good sound AND useable controls.
I find myself going back to my MOTU M-2 often just for simplicity of use, the sound is almost as good (not quite)
Oh and one more thing, you have to mute your track being recorded (in Logic Pro anyway) or you get an echo. Of course, you forget to unmute when playing back so that is one more impediment to your workflow that is just ... annoying.
I do not recommend buying.
it does the job well!
The unit does the job exceptionally well, and I sense no loss of detail or resolution or any additional noise or THD with signal passing through the box. Well done.

Since I bought oria mini and calibrated my room, the sound is so much better and my mixes sound so good and translate better to all systems. I’m really pleased with my purchase!
Two knobs three signals
Two knobs, three signals. I love the freedom. My headphones surpriced me with quality and this beautiful 'on/off' switch!
Amazing interface
Amazing interface, sounds good, easy to use and setup.
There’s one little thing that I think it could make it even better: outputs can’t be used for headphones and speakers in parallel. It took me sometime to understand why they wouldn't work while I connected two headphones together and then I realized that its either headphones or the back outputs.
The initial set-up was quite time…
The initial set-up was quite time consuming and not very intuitive, but once I managed to figure out everything it became quite easy to use. There is a slight monitoring latency, but it's barely noticeable. Good enough for semi-professional production. Overall very high price to quality ratio.
Just love what it's done for my home studio
I have my Oria mini installed in a home studio. It makes a very positive difference in how I hear my mixes and I'm very happy with that. I must say though the initial installation and driver updates into my Windows 11 system have not gone very smoothly. But any time I've had an issue or a problem Audient was VERY quick to respond and help me out. Highly recommended.
The pre amps
The pre amps , everything aounda better, tje loopback is a huge plus tjough i found my djmv10 easier for that though it doesht have that sound clarity.
One criticism id have is the “zero latency is a myth. In fact worse than the v10
Perfect for indie artists & home studios
I'm an indie artist and i record and produce music at home. I loved the experience of using audient id4 (my first interface). the sound is phenomenal. I combined it with the first pro mic i bought which is SM 57 as my room is not completely treated. And together this combo is a beast for my productions. Although, if you can, spend a little more and get id14 as you can plug in 2 mics at the same time which will allow you to get stereo recordings. But all in all for this budget, it cant get any better. I recorded my first EP with this, you can listen to AI Therapy by Aishik and listen to the entire EP to get an idea if the sound.
What an excellent unit
What an excellent unit!
Quick and easy initial set up. Sound is absolutely amazing. I haven't had much time to dive into it yet, but the auto gain alone makes this unit worth its weight in gold.
excellent mic pre
Now had the unit for about a month and so far it has been great - easy to set up with my MOTU 828ES and sounds great.
The getting started info I saw was a bit limited, it took me a while to realise a long press on the channel selector button toggles mute, but I got there in the end!
Haven't had a chance to do much vocal recording yet but I am looking forward to doing some this weekend.
Overall I would say this unit offers excellent value.
Oria mini sits there quietly and does its job…
I already had Sonarworks SoundID on my Mac and the Oria mini has allowed me to move it off the computer and onto hardware. At the same time it allows me to enjoy the different SoundID profiles I need. For example, my SoundID corrected room, a car profile and near field Cube profile. Fabulous piece of kit just sits there and does its job!
