2nd set of earphones has failed; no replacement offered
UPDATE: The earphones that were a replacement and are not holding a charge broke today after slipping out of my hands and landing on a rug. So I now have two pairs of "broken" earphones. No wonder Amazon has dropped this product. The bad Amazon reviews go on and on!
____
Great sound. Very comfortable. That's where the good review ends. My first pair of earphones broke across the top and were replaced under warranty. The replacement earphones are failing and Audiorange has offered to replace them for $35. The customer service rep implied that the failure could have been caused by misuse, which is certainly not the case and is insulting. Having them replace the headset for $35 sounds tempting, but if and when the 3rd pair fails, as I believe it will, I will be up to full price for a replacement set of earphones with no warranty. So I will pass on their unacceptable offer.
I wish I had read the reviews on Amazon before purchasing; I never would have purchased them.
I will contact my credit card company to issue me a credit under their extended warranty program. But the problem remains: where can I find a wireless set of earphones for tv viewing that is comfortable, has great sound and is durable.
My experience should warn you to avoid this company at all costs.
