Aunt Betty wrote my name in the wrong order on my tickets, I’ve tried to contact them, waiting on hold for hours, emailing them to get no response. To then finally getting through on the phone and then they hang up on me! Just not good enough. Will never book though them again.
Truly you cannot book with this business. Absolutely appalling customer service. After they changed my original flight (went from a 2 hr layover, to 8hr layover), I spent weeks trying to confirm whether my paid exit row seating would still be available on the new booking.
I made countless calls, chats, and emails, often waiting over five hours just to speak to someone, only to be kicked back to the start of the queue even after replying immediately. Promised follow-up emails never arrived, and no one could provide a clear answer or resolution.
Today after waiting in the chat queue from 9am to after 2pm, I was finally connected to an agent, replied immediately, and was still removed from the conversation and sent back to the beginning of the queue.
Completely unacceptable service, terrible communication, and zero accountability.
DO NOT BOOK INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS THROUGH AUNT BETTY!
I booked international flights through Aunt Betty 9 months ago. I was emailed by Qatar a week before we were due to fly out that the flights had been ‘rescheduled’. The Aunt Betty website directed me to only call if it was 72 hours before my flight. I waited 2 days before calling as I needed to know if I had to make other arrangements. I was on hold for 4 hours before someone answered a 5 minute phone call to tell me the flight was canceled and there was no option of rerouting. I asked for a refund and was told I had to wait until Qatar sent me a voucher and they would begin to process it which would take up to 3 months for a refund. It has now been 6 weeks since that phone call numerous emails have been sent to Aunt Betty as I can not email Qatar because it was booked through a 3rd party. And I have not received any emails or notifications back at all from Aunt Betty about my refund. I understand the current situation in the Middle East and the toll it has taken but this is getting ridiculous. Out of pocket $3,013.13 dollars and no word of a refund.
This is my second time booked with aunty Betty and I won't be book with them ever again.
Got a email & call confirmed seats and spoken to them on the phone said they're said all good, got check in different seats and have to sit somewhere else 🤦🏽😔 TWICE!
Useless! So frustrated...
No one returns your call or email/s to help change/cancel booking. Do Not use this 3rd party booking site!
I like that the steps in booking is simple and reliable their reminder also does a nice one
Quick and easy purchase process with fair price!
This was a simple and intuitive booking process. I was able to navigate seamlessly through the screens, and the reminders to check for accurate details were in the right places. The extras on offer were well considered and reasonably priced but opting out was simple too. There were several payment options and the fees were transparent.
Requested a refund in March due to the Middle East conflict and the process has been exhausting. I have spent over 15 hours across multiple live chat sessions because calls were never answered.
Eventually the refund was supposedly processed, and I was told to wait up to 12 weeks for an EMD voucher from Qatar Airways. It has now been almost 8 weeks, and after contacting Qatar directly, they have no information about my booking or refund request at all.
Aunt Betty has provided little to no help or updates throughout the entire process.
Extremely disappointing customer service. I will now be escalating this matter to the ACCC.
I regularly travel overseas and find Aunt Betty the best as far as customer service, pricing and options go.
Extremely Bad Customer Service!
We booked tickets through them and got a message from the airline that a flight got cancelled and we needed to rebook through Aunt Betty. It is pretty much impossible to get hold of them. When calling I was on hold with them for 3hours and 28 minutes (!!). When I tried their chat service online, I waited 5 hours (!!!) for someone to connect. By that time I was long gone from the computer. When you click on 'support' on the 'manage booking' page the link doesn't work. It's obvious, they don't WANT to help you! I think they can probably offer a good price, but if anything goes wrong and you need support, you're lost. I would never use them again.
I had an extremely disappointing experience booking through Aunt Betty. I searched for flights departing on 20 June, however the search results displayed flights departing on 19 June, which caused confusion and led to me accidentally booking the wrong date. The booking process was not clear at all.
What made the situation even worse was the customer service. I spent what would total over 30 hours on hold across multiple occasions trying to get assistance. I also sent emails and enquiries and received little to no response. After finally getting through to someone following another 4-hour wait, I was told that despite paying extra for refundable tickets, I could not receive a refund and would instead need to pay around $700 just to change the date.
Overall, this was an incredibly frustrating and stressful experience. Poor communication, extremely long wait times, and unclear booking details made this one of the worst travel booking experiences I’ve had. I would not recommend booking through this company.
I received automated emails a leg of my flight next week via Middle East was cancelled asking for email response or to manage the booking online. Online changes not possible so I called last night- 2.5 hours on hold to change my flight (I had details ready). Today I received random text and emails suggesting one flight changed but no details for the other or any confirmation so I called back. 1.5 hours on hold and now concerned that this won’t be managed well if I can’t call from overseas the next time. I get through to be told the agent didn’t do the flights correctly and no changes have been made - ask about a refund and she hangs up on me, I call back to cancel (1 hour 20 mins on hold) - same agent confirms my booking number and hangs straight up. I don’t have flights or a refund - no complaints mechanism. Not good enough.
Easy to navigate, easy to understand and no hidden fees.
What you se is what you paid for. Reliable
I was surprised as to how easy was to book my flights.

I am extremely angry and frustrated and disappointed with the service from Aunt Betty. I need to get a refund for flights cancelled by the airline due to the Middle East war and I have been trying to have this resolved since March and so far there has been no response from them.
For the nearly the past two months, I have been trying to get in touch with their customer service team. I’ve called multiple times, only to be left on hold for hours and hours with absolutely no response. It’s unacceptable and incredibly frustrating.
I also tried their online chat support several times. Each time, the waiting period was ridiculously long, and even after waiting for hours, no one ever responded. It feels like there is simply no support available at all.
On top of that, I sent numerous emails requesting a refund — and yet again, no response whatsoever. I have gone to the website, Manage Booking, at least half a dozen times and submitted details of the booking and requesting a refund for flights cancelled by the airline but there is not even an acknowledgement that the request has been received.
This is especially frustrating as I had also paid for Priority Support which clearly means nothing to them except grabbing more money from travellers.
I have waited almost two months, I am left with no resolution, no communication, and no support. This level of service is completely unprofessional and disappointing. I would not recommend Aunt Betty to anyone based on this experience. It looks I will have to take action through the travel ombudsman.
