I've been trying to sell my house for a year (was with a different estate agent to start with) I decided to go with Austins as they are a family run business and I thought I'd get a more personal approach, which I feel I wasn't getting with the first estate agent. I was not disappointed. Sean & his wife Penny and all the staff in the office have been brilliant with me. I have found selling & buying extremely stressful, but Sean and everyone have all been there for me to give me the support & advice I've needed in this journey of selling my home and getting the best price for my home. I would highly recommend Austins Estate Agent if you are after a personal approach.

They are not doing a good job. They’re completely letting the homeowner down. In three months, there were eight people interested — five actually viewed the house, and three cancelled. When we finally had a family who wanted to make an offer, the agent literally handed them a brochure for another property right in front of me — and of course, they ended up buying that one. That was absolutely disgusting.

Not to mention, the photos they took of our house don’t reflect what it actually looks like at all. It’s a joke.

They’re doing nothing to actually try and sell our house — all they’ve done is pressure us to lower the price, even though every other house around us is more expensive and still manages to sell.

So pleased with the communication with Austin Estate Agents when buying our house. They were so helpful in the early stages and very proactive as the process stalled a few times. We learned more from Austin than our solicitor. Would definitely recommend. Thank you to all the staff.

From our first evaluation visit when Mike ran through the process of getting our house on the market to completion on 1st March, Austin has provided a comprehensive, informative service throughout. All of the team kept us regularly posted on events and gave useful and honest advice when key decisions needed to be made. We achieved a good price on our property and the fees were very reasonable, providing good value. An excellent locally based firm, we highly recommend them.

My partner and I brought our first home with Austin’s. They were amazing throughout the whole process.
