Untrustworthy! - Took our money and ran
Took our money and ran! I was hoping to recommend Australis but will vehemently NOT anymore. We had to cancel our solar install over a month out from install due to our changing work situation. We offered to pay the real costs incurred to that point for the free quote/design, offered extra to pay for some admin and offered to pay for the quick site visit the sparkies did but they've still got our ENTIRE $2685 worth of deposit. Again we asked for evidence of real costs incurred and was ignored on the phone and email. We even suggested/asked if we could do some minor electrical work for some of $2685 but NOTHING from them. They hadn't cancelled the rebate schemes either which is a sign they were attempting to keep the rebates for the gear too, which was not bespoke to our house and could be used on any other jobs. Genuinely disappointed we couldn't reach a mutual agreement and we're going through Consumer Affairs etc now as them holding that sizeable deposit "does not reflect real costs incurred" and is most definitely considered "unfair and disproportionate". Hope no one else has a problem with their system and has to received the same poor treatment i did.
