About Autism Clinic London

Written by the company

Autism Clinic London is a Consultant-led service providing Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnostic assessments and post-diagnostic support by highly qualified expert doctors and multidisciplinary professionals.

We provide NHS-approved Autism assessments for children between the ages of 2 and 14 years, following NICE guidelines.

Our reports are recognised and accepted by NHS, Local Authorities, and Educational Settings.

We provide independent ASD assessments via self-referral and we also partner with NHS trusts to help reduce their waiting times.

Private Assessments
We offer internationally recognised Autism assessments for children between the ages of 2 and 14 years. We can provide both virtual and face-to-face assessments.

You will speak to a Doctor within 72 hours and your assessment will be completed within 4 weeks.

You don’t need a GP referral to use our service and our reports are recognised and accepted by the NHS, Local Authorities, and Educational Settings.

Autism Clinic London’s private Autism assessment process is designed to be comprehensive, tailored to each child’s needs and reassuring for parents and carers from start to finish.

We start with 15 to 30-minute video consultation with our senior Paediatrician to discuss your concerns in detail. If a full assessment is required, it will take place in one of our two Central London locations and will be conducted by our consultant-led multi-disciplinary team. Following the assessments, a comprehensive report is prepared. If a diagnosis of Autism is made, a follow-up video consultation is included to discuss the findings and provide guidance on next steps.

As well as private assessments, we work with NHS trusts so our assessments and subsequent reports are recognised and accepted by the NHS, local authorities and educational settings.

For international clients, bespoke packages are available that include accommodation, airport transfers, and a structured assessment schedule over several days.

Post Diagnostic Care
We offer a wide range of support to children who have been diagnosed with Autism.

Excellent clinic- Wonderful staff

Absolutely fantastic clinic- All the staff were so helpful and kind at all parts of our son's journey. Dr Banerjee was so lovely to both our son and us and her compassion made a difficult time easier. She is truly wonderful and really took her time to understand us as a family. I have recommended this clinic to several of our friends who have children in a similar situation to us and all had the same great experience. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Exceptional start to finish

Exceptional start to finish. My daughter had a diagnosis of autism within 4 weeks of our initial contact. A special mention to Dr Rakesh Tailor who made our daughter feel totally at ease and explained everything to us so clearly. He was a genuine pleasure to deal with. A brilliant service which has rescued us from our almost 2 year NHS waiting list. Thank you!

My 5 year old child had an appointment on Friday 13th September at 10am. We were seen promptly . We were treated kindly by the team they were very helpful and gave me the information I needed before they started. They then spoke to me afterwards also as to what happens next. It was a face to face appointment and I was very happy with the service provided.
