Hate group

Hate group. They regard autism as a plague and are linked to politicians with almost eugenic perspective on autism.

UK has NO experience with the American Autism Speaks

Not sure why Autism Speaks -- which is NOT a service but a Nonprofit Organisation based in the US and for only people who are IN THE US -- is on a UK trust pilot site apart from people who are 1.) Not Autism specialists 2.) Families who are very jealous at how the US leads in Autism positive outcomes due to the IDEA and ADA laws that protect and govern the right of each child from BIRTH to age 22 to have Free Access to Public Education and that includes all therapies, social skills groups, proper and timely (within 4 to 5 weeks)diagnostic evaluations, and private schools at public cost if deemed appropriate for the unique needs of each child. UK is behind the US in all respects of Special Needs education and care. UK chooses to go the cradle to grave care route and place kids into inappropriate home and education settings whilst also restricting their quality of life and bashing the US nonprofits like Autism Speaks at the same time. For Shame, people. Autism Speaks is a fundraising platform that has helped families pay for summer camps, autism movement therapies, dance therapies, music therapies, financial scholarships for parents to have training on how to better their children and their adult children's lives, identify immunological situations that impact those on the ASD spectrum. There is no "cure" for autism and there is NO MENTION of "Curing" autism, people, on Autism Speak's site or mission statement. Speaking as a parent of a child who enjoyed the scholarships for programmes that helped him go from NONVERBAL and severely autistic in the US (thankfully diagnosed and given early intensive intervention with speech therapy, OT, PT, horse therapy et al) to University scholar at a well-known University in the UK, who has a girlfriend and drives a car -- ALL OF YOU WITHOUT American experience, personal experience with Autism Speaks, and proper understanding about this neuropsychobiological communication disorder called Autism and this Nonprofit organisation called Autism Speaks should pause, do some research, and bite your tongue.

Come on!

Come on!
Tbh, just absolute trash.
Some of the horrors they put on here, well it's just unbelievable.
And hurtful to parents.
