Auto1 positive experience
I’ve been working with Auto1 for several years and appreciate their reliable platform for purchasing used vehicles. Recently, I faced an issue with a vehicle that had some unreported damage. However, Auto1 handled my concerns professionally and took responsibility for the oversight, providing a fair resolution.
Their commitment to customer satisfaction is evident, and it’s clear they value long-term relationships with their clients.

I buy car at auction "auto1"
I buy car at auction "auto1", without defects caused by hail. When auto1 delivered the car it was hail damaged (50+ dents), auto1 took no responsibility and dont gave any compensation. The cost of full painting of the car is more than 4000€
I advise you to think before buying a car from the "auto1" auction.
This is the worst company u can think…
This is the worst company u can think of,
Faked Dekra reports and when u ask for car papers they cut the conversation on what’s app."
The dekra report has a signed date in the future…… forget this company
Wanna loose money on wrecks? Buy in Auto1!
I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND purchasing a car here. The description absolutely does not match the actual condition of the cars, the photos are intentionally taken to hide damage, and most defects are literally concealed in the description. The communication from the sellers is only till the purchase, they call you up to three times a day; once you file a complaint, total silence. It reminds me of the practices of car dealerships in the 90s rather than a legitimate B2B business (and their terms&conditions...).
For a claim of 2,500€ (my Seat Leon Cupra purchase worth of 15.000€), I was offered only 400€ in vouchers for future purchases (which expire in a few months). After rejecting this ridiculous offer, Auto1 completely stopped communicating. Neither the Czech, Slovak, nor German branches responded to several written requests.
Never again! Please, avoid this company at all costs and buy your cars from many other legitimate B2B platforms.

they sold a car with a great report and…
they sold a car with a great report and in first paint/never damaged.
Received car is everything but what expected based on pictures available and report. front windshield full of chips and couple bigger cracks and one big crack. Their respond was, this can be repaired for 50€.
Car was in bumps and bruises all around. After they didn`t take me seriusly I`ve submitted professional 8d report that was ignored.
A have to sleep over, but I am seriously thinking about legal actions. I would never bought the car if I wasn't mislead.
UPDATE: 22.08.2024
Please, do not mislead with your excuse for stone chips:
this was start of my 8D report.
And I have all documents and pictures. 100€ - as offered, doesnt mean nothing. We wont be using your services any more!
On the car damage report you have described:
4 scratches, front bumper (4). 1 stone chip, rear bumper (1)
I have provide evidence for all of the downlisted:
1. Whole car is covered with some kind of residue of an unknown substance:

Was good company to buy cars from, but last two years they are simple Scam. 2 cars out of 4 could NOT be started during pickup. Land Rover had issue with intank fuel pump and Opel Vivaro had faulty starter, turbo and injectors. Engine was fully covered in oil.
They rejected both claims due to high milleage.
Actual problem is - they describe cars that can't even be started - as a running car.
This is real SCAM.
Also they force you to pick up NON WORKING car from their parking, because after you payed for the car - they are not responsible anymore..
Unreliable partner, misleading information about cars, bad customer support
We started collaborating with Auto1 in January of this year. The first car we bought was a Porsche Cayman, for which the information on the auction advert was that the car had a digital service book. Once the car came to us, we took it to the Porsche official dealer, where they found out the car had no service entries and no service book. Till today, we still have not received any solution from them regarding this car (They are offering vouchers for 250€). If we had known before that the car has no service history, we would not have bought it, especially if it is a Porsche, which, in this case, is unsellable. The second car we purchased was a Jaguar XE, for which the auction ad stated that the car hadn't evolved in the accident and had no prior damage. After the car was delivered, we saw that the front hood had too much space between the hood and bumper. We checked the Carvertical report and saw that the car was involved in the accident and the damage was 5.000€. They offered us 150€ compensation in voucher. The third car we bought was a Range Rover, which, in the advert, stated that there were no specific findings during the test drive. When the car was delivered, we discovered a strange noise coming from the engine bay. We have sent all kinds of proof and video to customer support, and till today, they still have not replied with a solution. For each case, they are looking for an excuse. They do not even reply to our legal representatives. We are a professional car broker collaborating with various auction houses, but this one is a complete disaster. From the buying process, system bugs (the page not working), estimated car delivery, claim process, and the support team, which is a joke. I would highly advise you not to choose this auction.

Very good service.
My bad experience with Auto1 SE in Spain.
My experience with Auto1 SE in Spain.
I saw a classic car for sale on a well known website. The listing was marked "private seller". However, the stated phone number did not exist and the vehicle location was stated as not far from me.
After several attempts to get more information, I was contacted by a Spanish agent from Auto1 offering to sell me this car. What is really concerning is the fact the seller passed on my personal information without my permission to Auto1 which I am sure is not strictly legal.
It appears this deceptive practice is endorsed by Auto1 in Spain as I found out the seller is contracted to only sell the vehicle through Auto1.
According to the website link sent to me by the agent, the vehicle is not close by to me but in Madrid! Way to far for me to go and inspect the car before a potential purchase.
The original information I did get from the seller is that the car has "historic registration". The photo sent to me by the Auto 1 agent shows the licence plate with the prefix B, this is not an historic plate. Despite several attempts to get this clarified and whether the vehicle has a current ITV if not historic registered, the agent has not responded.
Is Auto1 SE actively encouraging sellers to place misleading listings pretending to be "private sellers" when in fact this is just a disguise to link buyers to their own selling platform and gather personal data?
good cars good quality

I started to buy cars from auto1 starting with 2018. It’s right sometime there are unexpected problems with more damages acording to the presentation but every time my agent provided me support for solving it or they offered me vouchers for next cars.
Top dealer
Perfect communication with the dealer. Huge stock of cars in every price range.

I am a professional dealer and have been buying from Auto 1 for 10 years, but the auction is not what it used to be.
They hide the defects of the cars and then they don't pay you the claim!!! Be careful!!!
I no longer work with them. I have had very bad experiences with them and big money losses!

I have bought a car there, and it makes more than a month that I am waiting for pick it up. They just tell me is next week, and in the other one.
Auto1 no more, besides the high prices they have, you can buy in the private market!
