These manuals are a criminal rip off!! Having used many Haynes printed manuals in the past, I was expecting detailed step by step repair instructions with photos. There are none!! Nothing but generi... See more

Total Rip off
Bought and downloaded manual for Renault Laguna Coupe. Cost £26. A total waste of money. Very little vehicle specific information and very basic accompanying drawings and instructions. I am so disappointed. Old hardcopy manuals were brilliant. You could take out and reinstall engine with all instructions and diagrams very clear. Do not buy manuals. They are just not good. So disappointed. I hope Haynes read there reviews and take note. I believe old Haynes manuals were based on technicians actuals taking cars apart and write manual based on this
I bought the repair manual for the Renault Megane
I bought the repair manual for the Renault Megane GT line. It's a shame, it's just generalities, there's practically nothing specific about the vehicle. In the past, yes, there were books with everything specified.
I bought a haynes manuel for a toyota…
I bought a haynes manuel for a toyota rav4 imagine to my disappointment not seeing a guide on how to remove the crankshaft and con-rods and Pistons. Absolute rubbish total rip off. No help to anyone. The old haynes manuels were great. These online manuels gloss over every repair. Please don’t waste your money.
Avoid avoid avoid
I just bought Haynes Autofix an hour ago, but I already sent them an email about wanting my money back.
What happened?
I bought Haynes AutoFix for my Seat Ateca, and when I went to see how to change the oil, it showed me a video of a Renault, not Seat.
I than wanted to see if I can find the location of the oil filter, but I can't.
I can go and open the bonnet and crawl under the car to find the oil filter location, but than why did I paid for something which is of no help?
I miss the old paper Haynes Manual, that was a lot better quality,
Fool me once Haynes , and you'll get my money the LAST time.
Paid £27 for a Citroen Dispatch / jumpy…
Paid £27 for a Citroen Dispatch / jumpy manual. You have to get the online manual now. Once bought and paid for you can access it. There is very little information there. It did not cover the task
I required. But as I have accessed it, no refund. If you are an avid car DIYer , please don’t bother to get these online manuals anymore . They really are a waste of money
Paid over 20 pounds for a Renault…
Paid over 20 pounds for a Renault Kangoo hanynes repair manual. Absolute con, full of generic information. Hardly any actual instructions.
Avoid at all costs.
DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY Generic…
DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY Generic instructions not even for my car.. not much help looking at a mini maf sensor when I paid for a R8 manual to show how to fit..
Awful!!!
Awful!!!! This is a generic guide and provides no specific model detail. Complete waste of money. I thought that this would be like the old printed manuals of old with useful tech drawings and tips. The preview does not reveal this.
A waste of £27. I feel I should receive a refund.
Absolutely effin 5hIt
Absolutely effin 5hIt, waste of money. Has no car specific content. Just generic crap. Do not waste your money.
Reflector light has been pushed inwards…
Reflector light has been pushed inwards by someone reversing into my car whilst parked. Looking at the
bumper removal in the online manual it simply says "remove rear light unit" but doesn't say how that is to be achieved. Continuing on there are simple diagrams indicating where screws and screw caps are to be removed but no suggestion as to which tools are required. Explanation is non existent. Seems to be written for people who already have a knowledge of mechanics which I do not. I could do better looking at You Tube videos! A waste of £27. I have tried to submit this review to Haynes directly but get a 500 error and told to refresh the browser - yes I have done that too.
almost useless
Dont bother there is very little info for your specific car mine is a peugeot 3008 I have bought manuals for many years for my cars this is mostly general info photos and descriptions are not for my car the old printed manuals were very good thats a thing of the past!
Waste of money feel like I have been cheated
Almost useless £26 down the drain
Very little useful information
When you want to see how to route an aux belt on a CRV it tells you how to jack up a car (well I would not be tackling this job if I did not know how to do it), but it does not show me the route.
In the end I had to use Google, to find out the path. Really feel £26 is far too much for the paltry information it imparts.
