This trap was very expensive and didn't catch one rat. I ended up using the old fashioned wooden Victor trap which worked great.

Expensive, and does NOT catch squirrels at all--

Killed mice & 2 big rats, 19 hits, 19 dead! Best trap I've.

I purchased this device to deal with squirrels that were damaging the siding of my house and ripping my screens. At the advice of a spokesperson I used peanut butter as bait. However, the squirrels simply chewed off the top that secured the bait cup and carried both away. I had much more success with a Hav-A-Hart trap, but then I had the unpleasant job of disposing of the live squirrels.

This initial price might seem high, but thinking I had a single rat problem, I was surprised when 14 rats were eliminated within the first 3 months - all on one C02 cartridge and only a fraction of the bait!
Amazing product!

I bought three of these, and I would have returned them but it was past the deadline for return. I have had one in place for 3 months and I have not killed a single rat.

No luck so far.
Despite following instructions carefully, I have yet to catch a rodent.

Extremely impressive company... the A24 is one of the best traps I have seen in the last 40 years! Keep up the good work. Maybe you will launch the A18 and A12 to the US and Canada markets?

I'm pleasantly surprised that it works so well. We live where you can't stop mice from coming around. We now see lots less mice around and the counter keeps counting up. If you even remotely think you have a rat or mouse problem, you should try this.

UPS lost my shipment but the vendor investigated and I eventually received the trap. The trap itself is very well designed, packaged, and has excellent instructions

It does work, but not as good as other traps. I have no idea why. This one does work outdoors where battery ones don't because of rain or just from dew. I like this one because I don't have to rearm it. But the rats aren't that all attracted to it even though I use identical bait.

Elaboration: The site is central Florida. Used outside in a yard with oak and pine trees near our sheds. The rodent problem is rats. Squirrels too but those are not why I bought it for. I have rats that live in our sheds. I've attached the trap to a 2x4 so I can easily move the trap around. The provided bait caught 1 rat. The ants I believed ate the rest before it went bad. I now use Cheez-it as bait. Even though it only last a couple of days, I get a rat like 20% of the time. I used to use electronic ones where the rodents walked in and got electrocuted. Using Cheez-it it worked 90% of the time. The 3 cardboard bait things you are supposed to place to see if you have rodents in those areas? They didn't work at all. They still hanging and not a nibble on any of them even though I know the squirrels and rats are right there.

Love this product, not toxic to other animals when or if they come into contact with dead rodents. Highly recommended products.

I haven't had any issues with the trap. The bait seems to separate from it's oil base, but it is a pretty good attractant. Two traps together are about equal with my dog for rat kills this summer. Its pet and human safety is a fantastic feature. Relying on scavengers to disperse the meat really works better than anticipated.

Sorry. Your customer relations expire in 1 year. Not happy with the performance of your product.

I very much like the concept of your product. I put it side by side with a bucket half full of water. After 4 months, the bucket drowned well over 30 chipmunks, squirrels, packrats, and mice. Your expensive trap got exactly 1 mouse.

I set up a motion activated camera. The mice would crawl all over your trap but never ventured inside. The CO2 doesn’t work in winter and I think your bait freezes and doesn’t attract.

I purchased This product for rodent control at a horse facility. Horses drop grain so there’s lots of food for rodents. You could see the rats and mice running around even in the daytime . I tried the bait that comes with the trap as well as the grain that the horses eat, I did not catch one rat or mouse in 3 months. I called the company and Their suggestion was to stop feeding the horses grain, not possible. One of the videos they show online is someone setting up a trap in the middle of the woods, maybe it works there?

The trap works great but the bait is expensive and the effectiveness of it wears off quickly.
