Utilized AutoRentals.com to book car and got what we wanted!

Utilized AutoRentals.com to book car for trip to Juneau, AK to visit my daughter. After hearing horror stories about car shortages, particularly for somewhat inaccessible locales like Juneau, was pleasantly surprised to arrive and find the car type we wanted, available, and in decent shape. The local Avis office came thru and provided a drama-free rental experience. Thanks Avis and AutoRentals.com!

As I was searching to find the best price/value for car rentals I found AutoRentals and I am glad I did.

As I was searching to find the best price for a car rental in Reno/Tahoe for an upcoming family trip I luckily found AutoRentals. From start to finish it was a pleasing experience. For this trip I needed two big SUV vehicles since there were 12 of us going. I was able to reserve the cars I needed with no problem at the best price I could find. The rental through Enterprise was easy and efficient which was nice after a 12 hour day traveling from the east coast. I even experienced a huge problem when the airlines cancelled our flight one day before we were set to leave and I was able to rebook but not until the next day. When I called Enterprise they were very helpful and changed my date of arrival and even reserved both cars for me for the next day. I will definitely use this company again when I need to rent a car for my travels.

It's incredible how high car rentals…

It's incredible how high car rentals are...you would think that the companies would work together to have reasonable prices coming out of a pandemic. 😥

AutoRentals.com did a Great Job.. Thank You..

I recently had an issue with a car rental that I booked through AutoRentals.com. The rental car company that I booked with was (Rent A Car 4 Less) in Orlando. (Rent A Car 4 Less) sold my reservation to someone else for a higher dollar amount. This caused my family to have no transportation on our vacation. The time was end of March - early April and there were no other cars available anywhere. We were stuck, stranded for days. I reached out to AutoRentals.com for for help and I ended up working with a gentleman named Al. I told him of our issue we had with (Rent A Car 4 Less) and we went back and forth for a while. He even set up a conference call with other executives in his company so I could tell my story of what happened to our family. He asked me to send him phone records and any proof that I had to back my story. Also he asked me to send any receipts that I had showing the added expenses we had incurred because of not being able to receive our reserved mini van. Even through AutoRentals.com was not the one that caused the issue they took the responsibility and compensated us for our loss. They did a great job of staying with the issues and tried their best to resolve it with my family. (Rent A Car 4 Less) took no responsibility, what ever you do, never rent a car from from (Rent A Car 4 Less).

Lemons turned into lemonade!

I have used AutoRentals.com for several years for my car rental needs. This past April I encountered an unpleasant experience with one of the vendors of AutoRentals.com. I reached out to the company, explaining the situation that had occurred, and the associate has been EXTREMELY WONDERFUL in working with me for a resolution. Due to their professionalism, courtesy and taking the time to research my incident, I will continue to use this company for all of my car rental needs. Customer service is key and AutoRentals.com has a strong understanding of this. Thank you again, AutoRentals.com for taking an unpleasant experience and turning it into a good one.

Dear Michael Goldman & Auto Rentals Support Team,
Per your request, I am writing this letter delineating the events that took place pertaining to renting a vehicle from A-1 Rent A Car, 4299 Lawehana St., Honolulu, HI 96818 from May 18, 2021 to May 25,2021.
Customer service level so poor, it denotes a bad purpose against the formal agreement an act that is intentional. Below you will find a summary of the incident:
 Confirmation Number EARCXOF9EC3D issued 3/16/21. Pickup date May 18, 2021 at 10:30 am and Drop off May 25, 2021 at 8:00 am. Economy rental cost $237.91, taxes $81.84 total charges $319.75. (see attachment)
 Called Economy Rent A Car on May 16, 21 eight times to inform about modifying arrival to 2 pm. A representative was angry for calling before start time. He rudely stated the request would be modified and hung up abruptly. Called the May 17, 21 to confirm and he was annoyed that I called and said it was already noted (The clerk said his name was Makana).
 My wife and I took the shuttle and paid the driver as requested by her sign indicating on the dash this was how she got paid for services.
 After waiting an hour we were told by the clerk the original rental rate would be increased substantially because we did not arrive at the designated time and did not recognize the modified time. The charge was increased to $422.63 and the time was reduces to 5/18/21 through 5/21/21. The representative said our vehicle was not available. The only car available was an older Corolla SNS713 was issued with 88,060 mileage was issued. (see attachment)
 After driving for 4 hours we returned the car due to the Engine light displayed on the panel. I looked at the vehicle book and it stated it should be checked immediately. I returned Corolla and a new vehicle was issued Passat Try 145 at 6 pm. (see attachment)
 I was concerned about the agency’s insistence that we pay a higher rate for a short period of time. I called the 808.731.9103 more than 13 times and finally spoke with the same representative who did not want to hear my complaint. He insulted me by saying I was a poor communicator and was tired of my calling the office.
 I came to the office the next day in the afternoon and spoke with A1 agent Kuulei. I voiced my concern regarding the increased rental fee and discrepancies with the issued contracts. She stated that I should not worry and enjoy my vacation since I been in the office so regularly. She will speak with supervisor Panda to see if we could resolve the issue. The agent informed us to return the vehicle on 5/25/21 since I needed the vehicle to get around as requested in the initial contract and not heard from the supervisor. I texted Kuulei on 5/20, 5/21, 5/22 to find out when I would hear from the supervisor.
 Finally, I did hear from supervisor Panda and inform me verbally on the phone he would honor the initial agreement. I also texted Kuulie that I would return the car by 5:50 pm according to the time the Passat was picked up at 6 pm. I reference the discrepancy again

on the contact to return it at 2 pm. She said it would be worked out with Panda. (See

 Upon returning the vehicle on 5/25/21, I was attended by supervisor Panda. He stated that
he would charge me an extra date because I did not return the vehicle on time. I stated that my understanding was that the vehicle could be turned in by 5:50 pm corresponding to the time of delivery of the car on 5/18/21. He prepared a closed out invoice by did not allow me to see it as requested. He stated he would email it to me since it was already agreed upon.
 I looked at the invoice once he emailed it and was shock by the charges rendered at $867.74. It was totally inaccurate and deceitful. I was charged on May 27 using my credit card $108.47 and an additional $39.85. I had not documentation from A-1 Auto Rental regarding these charges not do I know the reason for the charges. I was previously charged $336.64 on May 24, 21 and $422.63 on May 20, 2021.

Please stay away from this guy

Please stay away from this guy. They overcharged than what you see online. Rental car condition was very poor. Pick up time is too long even after making several calls. Try to scare on the name toll route, insurance etc. Basically while booking they take you wherever the car available. If they can do then why we can't. Rent from other prominent company for piece of mind.

Saved money- easy process

I used Autorentals.com prior to my trip to Florida, for February break, to try to find a good last minute deal. They had a large number of direct suppliers and online travel agency results, and so I ultimately selected one of their partners, CarRental8 to complete my booking. The savings was significant, about 200 dollars less than any other provider, but I wouldn't know the end supplier until booking. I ultimately ended up with Alamo, in terminal and the pick up and drop off process was very easy and seamless. I am happy with my experience as I ultimately saved money, and had an easy experience with the reservation booking and pick up process.

Do your research before booking here

This company will advertiser a low car rental rate even through the booking process and yet the total price of the booking is more than twice the price of the daily rate they display for your booking. Even after waiving all optional add-ons they display a low rate and extremely high total cost. There is no way to see the total break down of cost and when you call the customer service line they will not give you the break of additional undisplayed cost. They only say that is the additional cost which, is more than twice the price of their offered daily rate. Just another scam company out to get your money. Do you research before booking with this company.

charged full 2 weeks but No car

charged full 2 weeks for the car i never received, no refund or discount tried to change booking but they only have answer machines on sunday, and they wouldnt of changed it anyway i phoned 1st thing monday morning, Very abrupt and unhelpful

Reserved a car on 9,22 2020 for oct 15,2020 they have my phone number and email. When i arrived in ft meyers they said sorry, we dont have any cars. They said i could come back tomorrow and check. No call no email just out of luck! No other companies had cars at last minute under $200 per day so i had to take lyftt an hr away to mydestination This company is not trustworthy

After making a reservation with…

After making a reservation with Autorentals, I arrived at the airport only to find out that my reservation was not held. I informed customer service of this and they were prompt and helpful in resolving my issue. Eventually I was refunded the cost of my reservation thanks to the good customer service.

The website is a bit of a nightmare and never seems to work properly for me always has one error or another but the the customer service people are excellent and could nt do enough to help and sorted everything out for me twice after a canceled flight
