Direct Express Auto Transport Reviews 

I contacted multiple transport companies for quotes to transport my car. A few said "call or text me", price was great but I was never able to get in communication with the company, but I continued to receive emails. Direct express was not the lowest price, but the company was available to answer all of my questions. Still due to my own anxiety because of past businesses I have dealt with, I was leery of the business. It was a 3rd party, I also was not familiar with the trucking company. I submitted my order on Wednesday afternoon, a driver was assigned by Saturday morning of labor day weekend, my car was picked up on time and dropped a day ahead of schedule. The driver was courteous and professional. Thank you and yes, I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Legacy Transport (via Direct Express) picked up my new Sequoia at the dealer in Illinois at 6 pm on the first day it was available. By 9:00am the next morning it was being unloaded at my front door in Okc.

The driver was very friendly.

I originally messed up the Availability Date on my order. When I called Customer Service at direct express they cheerfully and quickly located and updated my order.

I was hopeful about using this company based on the reviews, but ended up disappointed. My earliest ship date was August 2nd. I called on August 7th to get an update on the status and was told that I had to just wait. I asked if I should change my address to another location, perhaps closer to an interstate, and was told it wouldn't make a difference. On the 13th, I found a company with a quicker turnaround and called to cancel at Direct Express. I was then told that changing the address would help. Too little, too late.

I had a wonderful experience with direct express auto transport. The initiation of the order was simple and did not take long. The transport company made contact with the seller of the car that I was purchasing the same day. The seller commented how professional the transport contractor seemed on the phone. They pick the car up the next day and again they were very professional and they did do diligence of the condition of the car by taking several photos before they even started to move the car. The car showed up a day and a half early. The contractor was very friendly and very knowledgeable and I really enjoyed my experience. This is the second time I have had a car transported in an enclosed trailer and the next time I purchase a car for myself, if it happens to be out of state, I’ll definitely use direct express auto transport. I forgot to mention that I received three other quotes from transport companies and they were from $600-$1200 more for an enclosed transport.

Direct Express Auto Transport transported my car from MA to CA. I couldn't be happier with the service I received. The car was picked up only 2 days after it was made available and delivered 9 days later. When the car arrived to CA, the car was in excellent condition. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

Had to get my daughter's car home from Florida where she was attending school quickly due to the Covid-19 virus. Called Direct Express on Wednesday 3/25 and her car was picked up on 3/28 and deliver safe and sound to us here in RI on 3/31. I am very pleased with this company and will definitely be using them again when she goes back to school in August (if we survive this craziness!) Thanks so much for all your help! :-)

Got my quote right away and everything was done through email. The deliver and driver was great. But the service itself was bad. Never got my $20 refund for the survey/review and requested me to write more review.

Great experience! Communication was on point, no damage to my vehicle, made my deposit on a Friday and my car was picked up on Monday. Also arrived a day early! Highly recommend for any of your auto transport needs.

Best Transport Company and Staff I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. Direct Express Auto Transport has done a fantastic job handling the shipment of another car I purchased. I’ve utilized Direct Express many times throughout the past several years and they have never let me down. This time, I purchased a flawless Mustang Mach 1 from a private seller in Virginia and wanted an enclosed trailer with a very careful driver. I booked my reservation online and received a White Glove Delivery in addition to an extremely fast time frame. My car was picked up on a Thursday morning and was delivered to me in Illinois the next evening. The delivery company Direct Express paired me with was absolutely perfect. To this day, I only use and only recommend Direct Express Auto Transport. Regardless of enclosed or open shipping, I couldn’t ask for any better service or a more fair price. Transport was great. Just don’t rely on the 10 day window. Make sure you read the fine print. You can pay up front the deposit but they tell you in the email that you have to have cash or money order at the delivery location so make sure where you are delivering it has the money when delivered.

Customer service was great too, but give yourself time because it’s not guaranteed and they tell you to pay more, which is still not a guarantee. They like to say 80% and tell you nothing is guaranteed as repetition to cover themselves.

I gave it a 4 because I tried to push the envelope and then their miscommunication and excuses (read above) aggravated me but I should not have procrastinated and rely solely on a business for guarantees. No guarantees in life but death and taxes haha.

I would use them again and recommend them to anyone that was looking for a shipping company.

My experience with Direct Express Auto Transport was exactly as advertised! I had no clue how to ship a car I had purchased from my dad in Portland Oregon to Tulsa Oklahoma. I researched online and found Direct Express. Everything they had online was exactly how it went. My delivery was done professionally and on time right to my house! Overall, excellent! I told them when my vehicle will be ready for pickup and the next day from ready date I got my transport information. The transport company called me the same day and picked up my vehicle the very next day. They took photos of my vehicle and delivered when they said which was 3 days later....would use them again if I need my vehicle shipped.

My wife and I recently used Direct Express Auto Transport to transport out car from NJ to SC. We used the standard mode of transportation with an open carrier. We couldn’t be happier with the service we received. Th car was picked up 3 days after it was made available and was delivered 2 days later. Communications throughout the process was excellent. When the car arrived in SC the car was in excellent condition. We couldn’t be happier with the service that we received and the price was competitive. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

I arranged for my car to be transported from Sidney OH to Austin TX. The car was picked up in time by the driver. The driver was very helpful and carefully loaded the car. The car was delivered in two days to my home safely

I selected D.E.A.T. from a long list of potentials that'll bring my car to me back East here from the west coast in Oregon.
Everything is handled exceptionally well and stress free, just as I had hoped for.
The car was picked up a day early and the car was even delivered two days earlier than expected, of course they could have held the car longer.
The biggest companies like this one are usually the best and already have established business contacts which sets them way ahead of other small start-up similar businesses, who are usually just looking for secret ways to rip you off by nickel and dimeing you to death. I only had to pay what I was quoted, period.
Try to leave a tip for your truck driver as I forgot to do just that and I feel terrible about it. He was so nice and helpful and would gladly listen to everything I had to say quickly addressing any concerns. They deserve a little something extra, just pretend you were buying them lunch on the way to deliver your vehicle to you personally, that's kind of like a friend in need is a friend in deed.
I'm very proud and happy to give 5-star review to those who are deserving of it. Otherwise I just usually will not review or survey because I dislike being a negative person.
You are guaranteed to get the best quickest deal out there, period.
