I’ve really appreciated having Sieske on our team with Freddie. He has arthritis, aged 4!
He is a lovely cockapoo and some of the first signs were increased crankiness and a tendency to be nipping people.
We took her HOME offering as well as some follow up sessions. Sieske helped (and continues to!) in a lot of ways.
Practically helping me assess the home environment to add some ease for his mobility: we’ve got footstools to make it easier to get on the sofa and bed and a raised feeding bowl so we can avoid additional strain on his body.
She has also been great in helping me advocate for Freddie with the vet for example, insisting on painkiller trials, as well as being second (experienced) eyes on how they are impacting his mobility and mood.
If your pet is elderly or suffering in some way, I can’t recommend working with Autumn Animals highly enough - small changes can make a big difference!

Sieske has looked after our two cats for the last 5 years, she has a deep understanding, knowledge and empathy for animals and we could not have found anyone better. We would highly recommend Sieske, she is a joy to deal with.

We met Sieske by chance really, but we will be forever grateful that our paths crossed at the exact moment that we needed her. Our elderly dog had not been well for months and we'd been back and forth to our vet to try and establish what was going on. Eventually a diagnosis of terminal liver cancer was given but this was then retracted days later following further tests. We felt incredibly let down by the vet over the wrong diagnosis, and this was compounded when it became apparent that his symptoms had been exacerbated because we'd been inadvertently overdosing our dog with his arthritis medication, but following the vet's instructions. Sieske appeared in our lives around this time, like the guardian angel that she is. Whilst we were so relieved to find out that our dog didn't have cancer, we had been complete wrecks at the thought of having to say goodbye to him. This made us realise that we were in no way ready for when the time comes, and Sieske has been unbelievably kind and gentle in helping us to mentally prepare for it. Not only that, but she has put in place practical and very reassuring plans for his end and this has given us such comfort. Just knowing that she will be there is incredibly important to us. She is so kind and has a lovely serene way about her; our dog is not easy, being a rescue who came with a whole sack-load of 'issues'. But he was putty in her hands, having his belly rubbed! We cannot recommend Sieske highly enough.

I have used Autumn Animals' services to help as I had to make the decision to let my sick cat Charlie go. Charlie needed a lot of medicines and Sieske was always very helpful to me in making sure I understood what to do when, and then when I had to let Charlie go, I felt very supported.

My beautiful Lily-cat passed away in 2020. She was an amazing companion to me and I was so grateful to have spent my first covid lockdown with her as my companion. I adopted Lily from Battersea in 2017 as an older cat, since I didn't have any outdoor space. She was 12 at the time. She came to me with a heart murmur and arthritis, so I knew I would need to care for her in the years to come. I met Sieske shortly after adopting Lily and took her on as cat-sitter to Lily when I was away. From the first moment I met Sies, I knew she was a perfect fit for me and Lily. She was caring, compassionate, amazing with Lily, and so helpful with all things cat-related. As Lily needed quite a few different medications for her arthritis, it was great to know that Sies was comfortable administering them and looking after Lily in a more medical capacity. She spent such good quality time with Lily, I never worried while I was away.

In the lead up to Lily's death, which was fairly sudden - 5 weeks from initial diagnosis to the end. She ended up with a malignant lump in her spleen, and after having her spleen removed, the cancer spread throughout her body and she was put down. In the lead up to that time and after, Sies was such an amazing support to me. She helped me with the stress and anxiety leading up to the day, and afterwards she sat with me remembering my beautiful Lily. She helped me to celebrate the beautiful cat who had given me so much joy and love ❤️

I would totally and 100% recommend Sies as the person to help and support you and your loved furbabies. She is a very special person, super talented, generous, kind, compassionate and someone you will always be grateful to have met in yours, and your pets, lifetime.

Sieske simply exemplifies the gold standard of veterinary care. She was instrumental in bringing our cat Biscuit back to good health. She is considerate, tactful and friendly, always guided by the best interest of her patients. Always finding solutions and never afraid to face even the most challenging situations, Sieske's expertise and knowledge, coupled with her warmth and open heart make her the ideal carer. All our thanks will forever go to her for the invaluable contribution to saving Biscuit's life. Highly, highly recommended!

Sies has been a wonderful help to us with our two cats, one of whom had a serious heart condition and needed medicating twice daily. She provided not only a reliable and trustworthy cat visiting service whilst we were away, but also a very welcome source of advice and support throughout what was a very difficult time when our poorly cat’s health deteriorated. We cannot recommend her more highly.

Better than an animal caregiver, Sieske is the person you want by your side when things get rough and, having been the guardian to two cats with feline leukemia, I experienced it first hand.

Sieske was primarily my cat sitter, the person I trusted with my animals' wellbeing when I was away. I always felt safe leaving them because I knew whatever medication they were on would be correctly administered and any signs of disease wouldn't be missed. If one of my cats had lost weight, if they were throwing up or even acting weird, I could count on that being picked up and reported to me. For a sick pet, that can sometimes be the difference between disaster being avoided or not.

Sieske also has an eye for animal behavior and she'd sometimes give me recommendations on how to better manage my kitty family. When I recently told her that my cat's renal levels were slightly increased she suggested I start preparing for the day when subcutaneous fluids might be necessary with behavior conditioning - whether I do it myself or arrange for someone else to do it, making sure my cat is comfortable with it when the time comes matters tremendously and I'm grateful she thought of it before I did. Being able to manage a sick animal at home and without the stress of having to go to a clinic will prolong their life and allow them to have some quality time. Having someone who understands this is valuable.

Apart from my sitter, Sieske was also recently my end-of-life companion. When the day came to say goodbye to my beautiful Tiara, Sieske was also the one who heard me as I cried and tried to come to terms with the horrible decision I had to make. She was the one I turned to when, months after my heartbreak, I was struggling to cope with the pain. She sat with me and we talked it out, she told me about what resources are out there for pet parents grieving. How important that chat was to me, how much I appreciate all she's done for my kitties is something I'll never be able to express in words.

When I heard the details about this project I was thrilled. We sorely need something like this!

Sieske has a special way of being both warm and pragmatic, and I know whoever she chooses to work with her at Autumn Animals will be someone I intrinsically trust. After 4 years, I know her morals very well and I cannot recommend her - and whatever project she develops - enough. I trusted her with the life of my cats. What stronger vote of confidence can there be?

I could go on, but this is all you need to know: your pet will be safe with Autumn Animals, and so will you.

Sies quickly became part of our family when we needed help with our loved Gina. She took such a good care of her and us. She is splendid with animals and so knowledgeable. She was a life saver for us, helping us feeding meds and fluids to our sick cat. I can’t recommend her more.

Sies from AutumnAnimals helped us when our grumpy cat Millie, aged 14, was nearing the end of her life. We hadn't been through that experience before and were uncertain what to expect. Sies checked in on Millie, provided us with guidance and helped us make some simple changes that improved Millie's quality of life and our peace of mind. When Millie died, Sies provided us with support. It is still such a comfort to know that someone else cared about how Millie was feeling as she got older. We would recommend Sies highly and without reservation - she is simply brilliant.
