Absolutely wonderful treatment. David is a magician!

I have suffered from varicose veins for over 25 years, and they have been a constant battle. I have had both NHS and private treatment but was still unhappy about the appearance of my legs. I booked a free consultation with AVA and the scan confirmed that all major veins had been removed, there were still a few more than needed treatment. I also had quite a lot of spider veins.

I was quoted a price for micro-phlebectomy and sclerotherapy which I thought was reasonable. This was a fully inclusive price and would cover as many sessions as was needed, which turned out to be 4.

I am so happy with the outcome. My legs aren’t perfect, but I now feel confident to show them and looking forward to summer!

The clinic also offer Thermavein for treatment of facial veins. I had a small haemomangioma on my cheek which was very stubborn. I had previously had a course of laser treatment elsewhere to try and remove it, which cost me almost £1000. David treated it with Thermavein, free of charge, and it has finally disappeared. I am delighted.

I would unreservedly recommend AVA. The clinical treatment was excellent and cost was competitive. The clinic has a very welcoming atmosphere, and David and team are so friendly and kind.

Just come back from having my treatment, my procedure was booked in for 9am and everything was set up and ready to go as soon as I arrived, it took 1 hr 30mins and I was well looked after by both Mr Yao Pay Yong and Emma, left feeling delighted with my decision to go ahead with the procedure. I had my consultation in June and was not pressured at any point which spoke volumes for the professsionalism of the Clinic.

I originally chose Ava Clinics because if the free consultation, but felt straight away that this was the right clinic for me. Everything was very well explained on the initial consultation and I received copies of everything via the online portal afterwards. On the day of the actual procedure David and Georgie were just so fun, and the procedure felt very relaxed. The aftercare was great too.
The reception staff were brilliant, especially the lovely Australian lady whose name I have forgotten (sorry) but she was so kind and welcoming.
Being able to wear shorts and swimwear on holiday for the first time without worrying about how my legs looked was fantastic and I would absolutely recommend Ava Clinics to anyone.

From my first consultation with Mr. Yao Pey Yong and his assistant Amber, they made me feel totally relaxed with regard to the procedure that needed to be performed, which was Endo venous laser treatment plus phlebectomies to my right calf and lower inner thigh muscle. I had the operation under local anaesthetic at a time and date to suit myself which took approximately 1 hour, during which time I was quite pleasantly surprised how comfortable I was, it also made things calming listening to my own choice of Jaz music in the background. following the operation my leg was bandaged and then fitted with a compression stocking which I wore on and off for 2 weeks, I was in little pain and was amazed at the result with hardly any scaring whatsoever, there was a follow up meeting with both Mr. Yao Pey Yong and Amber after 8 weeks, just for them to see the fantastic result and also for me to thank them both personally. I would highly recommend this clinic. Thank you.

Fantastic and Professional, David and his team were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. I had the initial free no obligation consultation and scan, and went on to have a large Vein which went all the way down my leg across the knee treated. The results are amazing can go back to wearing shorts now!(Weather Permitting that is).

I honestly can't recommend this clinic enough.
I initially chose this clinic due to the free no obligation consultation that was offered. Many other similar clinics did not offer this.
I was unsure if I could afford a procedure to rid of my varicose veins. I had seen that a payment plan could be offered so decided to take advantage of the free consultation to see what my options would be. I had hated my veins for years but always believed that doing anything about them would be a long expensive experience.
I was surprised that when I arranged a consultation I was able to get an appointment within a week or so.
I am not from the area but the clinic was no problem to find. I was lucky enough to park more or less straight outside. The clinic was a lovely environment and staff were welcoming. I immediately felt at ease.
I was assessed using ultrasound. The surgeon checked me for blood clots to ensure none of my veins were an immediate risk to health. It turned out that my issues could be resolved at a low cost. I was so surprised as I was expecting it to be expensive. I booked in straight away and received treatment a week or so later! The procedure was pain free. The recovery was minimal. I was wearing shorts confidently within only a few weeks from my initial consultation. I am so pleased with the results. I have been able to wear so many things I wouldn't have before. I am so. Thankful to the team. IMy one massive regret is that I didnt do this years ago! If I have any other issues In the future I will be contacting this clinic without hesitation. 5 star experience.

I had a very large varicose vein running the length of my leg that had been developing for over thirty years.
I decided to do something about it and chose AVA because of their free consultation.
I was booked in very quickly and David scanned my legs, explained what the scan revealed and gave me a price for the required procedures. The price was very good and I was assured the price included everything he would have to do to resolve the problem.
I accepted and my first treatment, ablation, took place the following week. I returned seven weeks later and had the vein removed.
I have since returned for some sclerotherapy for the finishing touches on the vein and whilst he was at it, also attended to some spider veins on my foot and other leg all in the original price.
I can’t praise David and his team highly enough. Very professional and very friendly and helpful and would thoroughly recommend as your first assessment, you won’t be disappointed.

Was very thorougher, scanning both my legs and fully explaining what procedure I would require to attempt to elevate the cramps i had been having for 3 years and had been declined 3 times by vascular studies at my local hospital.
I did not hesitate to sign up there and then.
I have undergone 2 procedures and they have been brilliant, recovery was quick slight pain for a day or two but relieved with paracetamol.
But the best thing of all not one cramp or twinge since that first procedure.

If anyone is thinking about this or any other procedure then don’t hesitate to book your FREE consultation you won’t be disappointed.

Booking a package deal with repeat visits covered was also the right choice for me in the end.

I had an incredible experience at AVA clinic in Manchester. My surgeon was Mr Yao Pey Yong, and he did a great job at discussing the procedure, answering any questions and completing the procedure to a fabulous standard.

I had been struggling with varicose veins affecting my comfort and confidence. As treatment was not available to me on NHS I contacted AVA and another clinic as an initial enquiry. The other clinic were very persistent which, thankfully, I found off putting.
All the commmunication with the AVA team has been professional and reassuring.
First consultation was free and I was very happy with David’s assessment and explanations.
We went ahead, and over the planned visits, all included in the price which was clearly outlined, I had laser treatment, ablation and sclerotherapy, all with local anaesthetic at the most. It was at times a little uncomfortable but I can honestly say I have had more painful dental treatment. The team always ensured it wasn’t too much, and I found the music and the banter & chat the best diversion.
I walked out of the clinic quite comfortably on each occasion and the down time before returning to my regular exercise classes etc was minimal.
David and his team of assisting nurses and doctors absolutely got it right and I am so grateful for their amazing work.

I have visited Ava clinic twice now and can’t praise David and his team enough on both occasions they made me real relaxed during my treatment chatting to me all the time and keeping me calm during the procedure I’m happy how the treatment is going and am starting to to see the results in the appearance of my legs which have improved massively .

I recently had EVLA and foam sclerotherapy treatment for varicose veins at the AVA Clinic under Yao.
I was on my third leg ulcer and this one was taking a longer time to heal than the other two. I'd been on the NHS waiting list for 6 months for a vascular appointment in Wales. And they told me it would be another good 12 months to get a consultation appointment. So decided to go private. After looking online I decided to go to the Ava clinic as they offered a free no obligation consultation and scan. And there all inclusive transparent fees.
I cannot recommend Yao and his assistant Amber highly enough. From the very first consultation, they were incredibly professional, reassuring, and attentive to my concerns. Yao explained every step of the procedure clearly, making sure I felt comfortable and well-informed. Throughout my treatment, both Yao and Amber provided exceptional care, which contributed significantly to my positive experience and recovery. I am extremely grateful for their expertise and dedication. And my leg ulcer has now finally healed.

First class from start to finish and David and the team make you feel so comfortable, relaxed and talk you through everything in detail which is easily understandable. The procedure took less than hour and was pain free and bizarrely a rather enjoyable experience due to us chatting away. Walked to the train station immediately after the procedure and follow up phone calls to see how I was doing. I really could not recommend highly enough.
