Chaotic return

There was an accident with one of the shuttles, so things went a little crazy. They had to send another one while the police were handling it. Must have caused a mess back at the office. My truck was within sight, but they couldn't track down the keys for about 10 minutes. about 20 customers all wondering what's going on. Nobody could give us clear instructions.

They damaged my car and did not pay for the damage.

My car gearshift handle was damage when I returned to my car. The gearshift lever has area that in order to shift into any gear it must be pushed in by the driver this portion of the knob was just resting on the gearshift and when I touch it just fell off. Which I explained that it would be a hazard for me to drive home. The attendant made attempts to reattach it unsuccessfully. I ask him should he doing some paper work he told he was in the person in charge he would note it but told me to call the next morning and talk to the manager. He seemingly was trying to put the matter off on someone else. The next day when I called I was given the runaround. After several attempts the manager told me I didn't need to return he would complete the claim and I was to just email him two repair estimates. I did and I haven't gotten any response to this date. The company seems to be avoiding all my attempt to resolve this matter.

The worst

Allow an extra hour if you park here...The shuttle does not run in a timely manner . Do not buy the Groupon either..They make you prepay for parking..Getting the credit back required calling the credit card company and reversing the charge. And you will wait an hour for pick up when you return...If you park here you probably hate your life already.

Not the same

We have used them multiple times. Unfortunately they recently had their building collapse and now only do outdoor parking. Only a small trailer as their office. Everybody nice and helpful. Just not the same as before.

Not quite sure - if I can recommend this...

Have used this parking a dozen times. Biggest issue is that pick up from the airport ranges from BAD 1/2 hour wait + to OK. Staff usually has a bad attitude at the front desk and talks down to customers when you are trying to pay... If you have a groupon it is mind boggling why you have to pay in advance and are later credited as opposed to just using the groupon. OH and the Best Part is NO ONE ANSWERS the phone over half the time when you are waiting for a ride...

not in a million years

bad location, horrible property, shuttle was so far behind we had to take a taxi in order to not miss our flight. no bathroom facility, rude staff. i would never use this parking site ever again

Door Dings

The transport service was fine. However, when we got home, we noticed two chips out of our paint. We left multiple messages to speak with a manager, but never received a return phone call! We obviously won't be using them again.

Your car will be dusty

The lot is outside so our car was pretty dusty. We were alittle confused on where we were to be picked up but it was all pretty easy.

Great service!

We have used Avistar twice now, and it is so nice to be dropped off and picked up quickly from the airport. It's so much nicer than taking the bus in to O'hare and having to wait if you miss it on the way home. Thanks Avistar!!

Its ok

Small lot size, poor attitude of the receptionist ( If I told you Ive never parked with you please be aware you may have to answer some repetitive questions) small dent on my driver side door that came from the truck parked way too close to me. Obviously the door of the truck opened and dented my car.

Lost my trust

I had a container that held loose change and it was missing, except for the lid, when we came to pick up the car. The manager didn't seem to care. It's not the few dollars, but the idea of someone stealing from cars. Also on the same trip, I owed them for an extra day and that same manager looked in the computer and said he could charge it to my credit card I used online, which shocked me it was still available for him to see. But later that day my credit card number was used to purchase items around Chicago...I live in Milwaukee.

Hope WallyPark makes it better

I've used Avistar for many, many years and the decline is deplorable. Have waited more than 30 minutes for a pick up, had lazy drivers who made no effort to assist with bags but looked for tips. I'm hoping with the new location and merger with Wally Park things improve, otherwise I'll need to make changes and I am a very frequent flyer.

You wait to be picked up at airport!

Everything goes very well until time to come home. The wait at the airport outside the Hilton Hotel is at least 30 minutes in whatever weather. Other services have more buses , but Avistar is cheaper by far.
