Hello, I'm Richard, and I run Away From Rain together with my small, trusted team. Since 2013, we've been helping holidaymakers, mostly from the UK, swap grey skies for sunshine in the south of Tenerife. Our main focus is Costa Adeje, but we also have apartments in other popular areas across the south of the island. We handpick every apartment ourselves and only work with properties we're proud of and would be happy to stay in ourselves. They're spread across a wide range of complexes, from well-known names such as Santa Maria, Sunset Harbour, Sunset Bay Club, Yucca Park and Palo Blanco to plenty of others, so we can usually find something that suits you, whether that's a short stroll to the beach, a quiet spot by the pool or room for the whole family. What I'm most proud of is the personal service. When you get in touch, you'll hear from me directly – not a call centre or a faceless booking site. I'll answer your questions honestly, help you choose the right apartment, and give you one clear total price with no extra fees or hidden charges. Once you arrive, my team meets you in person at check-in, is on hand during your stay if you need anything, and sees you off at checkout. There's always a real person looking out for you. I know how much a week or two in the sun means, especially when it's been a long winter at home, and I work hard to make every stay smooth and stress-free from the very first email. Yucca park apartments - spend 3 weeks costa Adeje in two different apartments both spotless, great location, pools and bar with friendly staff , check in and out with great service no waiting for key been handed , on the check out taxi booked for my request and the most important fantastic contact with the agent 💯 recommend and I will be back soon 🏖️🏖️🏖️🏖️
Anybody need any accomadation for youre holidays these are the people to come too. Beautiful apartments and good prices. Very helpful people and the communication is 100 percent i cannot wait to book again to come back to tenerife :)
We had never booked accommodation independently from flights when going on holiday before and I was extremely cautious, however, I came across “ Away from the rain “ during a search on the internet and was so glad I did . Richard could not have been more helpful in assisting me with getting the perfect accommodation in our chosen resort , Adeje , in Tenerife. We were delighted with the way in which Richard organised everything from taxis to and from Airport to the collection of keys for accommodation. The Yucca park apartment was fabulous and exactly as described. We loved it so much we returned for a second time and would have done so again next year if we hadn’t had an unexpected change of plans . Absolutely rate Richard and team at “Away from the rain” extremely highly and absolutely would use again .
I always use Richard from Away From Rain for my Tenerife holiday as Richard keeps you in touch with everything.The staff are very helpful if there is any problems.When we went one year we couldn’t tune the tv in,we phoned and I must say within an hour they were at our apartment and they did it for us.The location we had in Costa Adele Yucca Park was so central.Would definitely use again
Myself and my family have used Away from the rain several times over the years Richard is fantastic to deal with. The apartments we stayed at were spotless and never had any issues. We would highly recommend. Facts we'll be booking again for 2027.
Very good complex and apartment central to pubs shops restaurants and beach 5 minutes walk overall very good place to visit definitely recommend it
I'd like to thank you personally for everything leading up to our arrival the communication from yourself from the questions I had was brilliant - we had a fab time in Tenerife the apartment at Parque Royale 1 was absolutely spotless and everything was there that we needed.. it's one of the friendliest complex's we have stayed on.

We rented a beautiful apartment from Richard in the summer. From the off the booking went very smoothly Richard and staff couldn’t do enough for you. Would definitely recommend away from rain and will be booking with them in the future.
