It is a great map

It is a great map, was delivered quickly, is a thick, durable material and not just thin paper. Will go great in a frame and I anticipate marking on it everywhere I have been able to dive.

Stick with them - the product is worth it!

There are a lot of reviews about timing of shipping and customer service etc, but stick with it! This really is a cool bottle, it would be nice if there was a nicer straw you could buy for it, but other than that, it's amazing. Everyone asks about it, whether it's in the work office or travelling across the globe. Would definitely recommend. LET'S GET SOME NEW STICKERS!

This is a scam NEVER RECEIVED

This is a scam! I never received my order it’s been over a month…
They also advertised the price without specifying it was in US$ …I assumed it was AU$ since I shopped from Australia, therefore the price was even more expensive than initially shown!
I asked for a refund but I’ve been told they can only refund the shipping cost because the item has been shipped even though they can’t track it and I didn’t receive it after a month! Is these even legal ????

Really ridiculous customer service

Really ridiculous customer service. Ordered two map towels start of June. Now we’re 6 weeks in and I have absolutely no idea where my order is. Tried to reach out to the customer service and got the exactly the same reply (word by word) saying they’ve handled it to the shipping company. However the latest status shown on the shipping company site hasn’t changed since three weeks ago saying the product is within the shipper’s warehouse. Avoid at all cost.

Terrible communication and never received what I purchased

Ordered the water bottle and 2 pouches on May 31. Got nothing but an "order received" email. Had to email them to get a tracking number. It's a month later and I still don't have the items I bought and they aren't answering emails. About to dispute the charge through my credit card. This is ridiculous!

Update: after finding another email address for Awesome Maps on PayPal I managed to get through and get somewhere. It still took a lot of back and forth. I kept getting told it was arriving next week. I questioned why I didn’t have tracking past the international border…and they couldn’t answer it. I gave them an ultimatum at the 3-week mark since it was supposed to come from VIC, Australia and it actually came from Germany via the Netherlands. I said they had to send a new one. Low and behold that one was printed in Sydney, NSW and came a week later. The OG one came the same time as the first one that was sent. So my order arrived 5 weeks after I ordered it. Not the 4-6 days the website said. Even though they’re a small business that doesn’t stick to what they say online. However, I am happy they fixed the issue. The product is amazing and I recommend it.
Order with caution though.

Side note: wait to get a frame once you receive the product. Both maps were different sizes.
OG was 97.5cm x 56cm
Second one printed in Australia was 60cm x 90xm

I ordered a map from them thinking it was coming from Victoria and would arrive between 4-6 days with tracking. Boy was I wrong. I really wish I had looked at reviews from here first because it seems like the company just scams people. It’s now been 2.5 weeks and I still haven’t received the map yet and I got it as a birthday present for my partner. Now he has nothing to open. I haven’t even received an email with shipment details.
I emailed early last week and got told to wait another 4-6 days and that it’s been sent out. Surprisingly it’s coming via the Netherlands… with no tracking. Shocking after I paid for tracking. I emailed again since it’s been 9 days and got no response. Their customer service is bs. Their company is bs. So watch out. I’m now going to lodge a complaint with PayPal and hopefully get my money back. I had to pay in USD so it worked out to be double in AUD which means it’s not cheap at all.
You would think in today’s day and age that companies would want to do what’s right by people since there’s social media and review companies where people can give honest reviews let people know how dodgy they are.
Good luck to anyone who needs to fight to get their money back.

I will gladly update my review if I receive the map within the next week.

Some of our products ship from our Australian warehouse, while others - like the item you ordere. - come from our German warehouse. At checkout, the shipping estimate was listed as approximately 7–14 days. According to the tracking info, your parcel passed through the international distribution center on May 28, and we're confident it will be delivered next week.

Love it

I ordered 2 bottles and got 1 free. It’s really great quality and keeps the water cold all day. The customer service was really good and they were very cooperative. I recommend it for anyone who loves travel

Delays To Dispatch

**Update**
After posting this review, had reply back same day to my email confirming there was likely a glitch in the email system for notifying dispatch. Arrived just under 2 weeks after order, great product. Hopefully customer communication is going to improve.

Placed an order last Wednesday for map towel, basket advised it would be sent by piority post to UK and was in stock. Nothing in the confirmation email to advise how long it would take to ship. 4 working days later still not recieved any update on the order, sent an email to ask what was happening 24hr ago but not recieved a response. There is no way to track the order online, unclear if I am going to get the product ordered.

Have not received my order yet and customer support is shocking…

Have not received my order yet and after 2 weeks it hasn't quite shipped despite the site claiming the order would ship within 24 hrs.

I ordered 2 weeks ago for a friends birthday at the end of this week.

Having had no communication since the order confirmation I followed up to be told it hadn't shipped yet because they didn't have the stock and wouldn't until next week (despite their web site claiming they did at the time of order and still do now) and I was sent an email to explain this straight after my order.

Having checked my junk folder (as suggested) and the mail server logs there was no evidence of any email being sent so asked if they could resend it and also enquired whether DHL could be used if one of the products I had ordered was in stock. Today I woke up to a random email, not responding to my questions but instead providing me (as apparently promised) with some free digital maps which are completely pointless and useless to me. No idea why these were sent!?

I then followed up again and still no response to my email but I now have a shipping notification which is amazing given they apparently don't have my order in stock.

I have no faith it is going to get to me in time as it hasn't actually been picked up from the warehouse, per the tracking details provided, and the service used doesn't seem to be a priority service. Equally the tracking details seem to think the package is being shipped to the UK rather than to Jersey (which are treated differently for postage/by couriers)

The descriptions of "Phenomenal Customer Support" and the company doing everything it can to resolve issues are completely at odds with my experience. I have now forwarded on my latest follow up to Katharine who has previously responded but am very disappointed in the experience and have little faith in receiving my order in time.

I would expect the vast majority of purchases from this site will be as a gift for someone else so unless you have a month or so until the time you want to give the gift I would think hard about placing an order.

Order not received

Ordering process was good and it all looked fine but I never received the map. I contacted customer services and they chased it up with the courier but then again, no news.
After a few emails, I received a response stating the item was lost but also unavailable for order, I was offered an alternative or a refund.
I selected a refund which was processed within the week.
I feel communication and order fulfilment could be improved but alls well that ends well. So total of 2 months nearly to receive the refund.

Your order was shipped via DHL but unfortunately got lost in transit. We opened an investigation with the courier, but these processes can take time and, regrettably, we’ve had no update so far. In the meantime, the product you ordered was discontinued, so we weren’t able to send a replacement.

WORST water bottle! Not worth it. Save your money and avoid. Beware this company! They are incredibly deceptive.

Deceptive. Misleading. 100% false advertising. If I could give 0 stars I would for how awful they are. Beware this company. Worst customer service I’ve experienced. They falsely advertise their water bottle stickers as waterproof and dish washer friendly. I can confirm they are not and starting fading without even being in contact with water after 1 week. The other reviews are right on that they will not give a refund and instead have the audacity to tell you to ship the bottle on your own dime for their defective product. Awful customer service. They do not value their customers. It feels very much like a scam. After over a month of email correspondence requesting even half a refund at this point I’m still waiting. Like I said numerous times, I don’t want their crappy stickers I want my refund and they won’t honour it. Unacceptable!

UPDATE: These new "100%" waterproof stickers that they sent? The exact same and have faded and barely recognizable with hardly any water contact too! It's only been a matter of weeks. Trustpilot this company is 100% a scam. They need to be held accountable for their abominable customer service and false advertising. Awesome Maps I want my refund. Now in addition to the disintegrating stickers, the actual country names/illustrations on the water bottle itself are fading too and they have been completely ignoring my emails.

Beware

Beware: if you want to return your map, you will have to pay to ship it to Germany. They will not refund your money otherwise, even though in my case the company admitted the map was defective. The writing was tiny and illegible - couldn’t read any of it.

was promised a refund. now they won't and are not responding to emails.

Their artwork and designs don't work on the wood prints at all; blurry and barely legible even close to the print. Ordered for Christmas and didn't get tracking info. They arrived Christmas Eve, but didn't know if I could give as gifts until then. Couldn't use them as gifts anyway because the quality sucks anyway. The designs simply don't work for this application on wood with the printer they're using. Website at the time said I could return to Utah, but then they said I needed to pay shipping to Germany. They agreed to a refunding then would not respond to any emails. Pretty sh!tty eh?

Waiting for over a month

I really wanted this to be a good experience as I was considering buying more products in the future, unfortunately though, that hasn't been the case.

I ordered a bottle as a Christmas gift because their website said "Guaranteed 4-8 day International Shipping." I kept checking the tracking and my bottle made it to Whittier CA by Dec 20, but then it didn't move until Jan 10 (3 full weeks). I reached out to the company twice during that 3-week wait and was told that delays were due to the Canadian post, which did not make sense as the bottle was still in California. In a response from a customer representative on Dec 31, I was told that my order should arrive "early next week." It is now January 18th (over a month since I placed my order) and my bottle still hasn't come in, which has been disappointing.

I did give the company 2 stars because the customer service response time has been great, and the representatives seem professional. But there hasn't been any effort made to rectify my experience so far.

In fact the shipping companies outside of Canada could not even forward shipments to Canada as Canada Post wouldn't accept any new parcels. This crated a terrible backlog of orders - super frustrating of course and we're truly sorry for the delays.
