Been twice and we LOVE it! The kids are booked in again soon
I have 2 sons, a teenager and a 5 year old. I booked them on a ropes taster session and the summer camp.
We have met Raymond and Ollie as instructors and Siobhan out front.
Ollie and Raymond were taking the kids club and have such great skills and patience in working with the kids. My 5 year old can be hyperactive and not a good listener (I felt frustrated at him for his behaviour) however Raymond was able to speak to him, reiterate the safety rules and still turn it back into a positive ... at almost 4 hours into the kids camp session!
I also seen Ollie adapt the activities following the lead of the kids.
I paid £24 for my 5 year old and I to do bouldering- which seems quite pricey however that included the shoe hire, some guidance from staff who are generally very visible. We made a day of it, spent a few hours in the centre where we utilised the very reasonably priced cafe and went back for more bouldering afterwards.
I must also add (as a coffee lover) that Damien made me a flat white with not only the best latte art I've seen, the milk texture was perfect throughout. Better that most coffee shops!
My 2 sons are booked again for the camp, and my older son is interested in getting a membership (which includes the gym!)
Finally, the building is stunning. There are stained glass windows and many original features of the church retained. It is very clean and any members of the public I've chatted to have all been very kind too.
