Purchased two La-Z-Boy recliners
Purchased two La-Z-Boy recliners, with different fabric. One chair has stood up very well in terms of wear. The other has been terrible. The recliners are only 1 year and 9 months old and the one with the bad fabric looks so bad that I tried to get Babette's to find a resolution to the problem. I spoke with their service department and they did have a service rep come take a look at the chair in question. He simply told me that the chair is "dirty" and needs cleaning. The chair has been covered with a chair cover since day one and the other chair still looks like new. I maintained that the fabric is of poor quality and that they should do something to make this right. Paid about $1500 for the chair; should not look like it does in this short time. Wanted to also attempt to have them discontinue selling this particular fabric to avoid other customers from this bad experience. No luck in any resolution and I will never again buy from Babette's and in fact, a La-Z-Boy chair.
