They let me know about backordered item and item was sent before expected. Item was in perfect condition and exactly as listed on site.

The prices are good but the shipping times are long. After I placed an order, it was 9 days until I received it.

I was notified that one of my items was back ordered. They shipped all my items together in a recycled box. Good communication and good, green business practice. Plan to enjoy my purchases this winter!

Kudos to Backcountry Gear. I had been looking for this North Face footprint for a while. Not in stock anywhere and North Face says no longer available. Came up available online, checked to make sure it was in stock, ordered it, shipped out next day, and it's now here ready for next camping trip. Thanks.

Jenny from the team helpfully shared her own experience with different items on my list and I picked 3 Klean Kanteen bottles at last. All of them were backordered at the time and this was well communicated to me. When they were back in stock and shipped to me 2 weeks later, they arrived in excellent condition thanks to the protective but not overly bulky package. Awesome experience!

The order took a long time to receive because one of my items was back ordered they could have sent the order without the back ordered item. At least my trip wasn’t sooner because wouldn’t have had my food in time. Other than that great customer service, Jenny emailed me right away with a answer to my question.

I received excellent customer service. I ordered a sale item that I knew would be backordered but I didn't expect a quick note from customer service regarding the order and an anticipated date. I received my order within the time indicated, saved money with the sale price, and received the item in perfect condition.

Ordered the Rab Photon pants , which they did not have in stock . I was told this when I called and ALSO got a follow up Email telling me the same . They told me when they thought / expected it to be in & ship . Was in & DID ship within the stated window . Item arrived just as ordered , and I paid a VERY fair price . Will check their site and use in the future . VERY good Customer Service . Becoming a rarity these days .
