Backpack.tf is a site ran by evil p*** and oligarchs who manipulate the TF2 market and have created a monopoly of power and their followers act like cultists who harass you if you don't use them.

Backpack.tf acts like it's universal when its not, No one elected them.

I am exhausted how I go to trade I have my own set prices and I am scolded about the so called """market prices"" by some random BP cultist and demands I trade to him for the same amount I traded for making the act of being a merchant pointless.

Why buy something to trade it for the same price? That is stupid.

It is also well known that the owners did illegal things in the past and if that was not already bad enough Backpack.tf violates steams Terms of Service.

Backpack.tf is a scam and it has attempted fundamentally ruined trading in the TF2 community.

Backpack.TF is an immoral attempt by a handful of opportunists to create a oligarchy that benifits them but robs everyone else.

For example they ask for stupid prices for items while at the same time demanding unfair deals from you and they list the supposed ""market value"" of items based off what they want not reality.

for example a hat costs 3 refined metal to make but instead they list it for 1 ref or lower as a very clear scam to trick newer traders.

Thankfully most players still refuse to use 3rd party scam websites not officially endorsed by valve or steam.

In conclusion Backpack.tf is a conspiracy to rob the player base

Focusing only on the function of the site, it does what it's intended to do.

Very useful for casuals such as myself to get rid of TF2 item fodder like cosmetic cases, and exclusively doing so through Steam trade redirects.

They have a history of scamming and malicious pricing, happened to multiple people I know recently.

It gives you average prices for things you want to buy, plus you can also find cheap offers without spending most of your day on a trading server!

This is one of the best sites. Made by the owners of tradeit.gg, scrap.tf and marketplace.tf which are extremely trusted. I use this site mainly to check the value of items. There is obviously more things to do than just check the value of items. You can trade items for keys or keys for items and so on.

Really good if you want to trade on Tf2, the classified listings allow you to list and look for very specific items and there is a value on almost every item because of a very active price suggestion community.
