A fabulous shopping experience…

A fabulous shopping experience from start to finish. I bought the sterling silver ruby tie slide with an engraving. Customer service was excellent, I spoke to them on the phone and also asked a question via email and on both occasions the replies were prompt with accurate and helpful information. Delivery was quicker than I expected but the best bit was the item itself. It’s a really beautiful piece, the engraving looks fabulous and the item is well presented in the gift box. I will recommend and use again. Thank you.

CHEAP AND NASTY!

Recently bought my boyfriend a watch/jewellery box so ordered one from Badger & Brown. When it arrived, it looked way more orange than brown, it was light as a feather and felt/looked so cheap. It also appeared to have a strip of glue on the left hand side of the box. They do not offer any form of free returns which is also super inconvenient and costly, and seems very unreasonable considering it is an online retailer. Would not recommend to a friend!

I would not recommend at all

I would not recommend at all.
We were sent such bad quality cufflinks that you could barely read the writing and after getting in touch with them, they sent new ones out which were just as blurry and still unreadable. After getting back in touch with them and sending them pictures of the clearly blurry cufflinks, they said they were happy with the quality of them and would not issue a refund.
If they can honestly say they are happy with the quality of the cufflinks then I would avoid at all costs! Awful company!

You kindly purchased the Star Wars personalised cufflinks. You were unhappy with the first pair we sent you, so we sent another pair with a higher printing spec. We agree about the first pair being on the 'light' side but the second pair were perfect and what we advertise. This is the first negative review we've received about this product.

We're a very reasonable company who go out of their way to make everyone happy but in this circumstance it was been impossible to do so.

The products we sent you are very acceptable and were very clear and readable. Sadly as they've been personalised we couldn't offer a refund on them.

Brilliant experience, fabulous quality

I've just received silver bar cufflinks that are engraved. I absolutely love them, they are an amazing gift. They've came in a gorgeous silver bullet like box which is also engraved.

I ordered them over the phone and the girl was so patient with me, even though I changed my mind a few times.

I'll definitely order them again and am excited to see them being worn. Brilliant experience, fabulous quality

Absolutely terrible!

Absolutely terrible!!
I bought the Stirling silver cuff links with the knot design. The quality of the product was awful with a really bad finish. The hollow inside of the knot looked like it had something in it and was not polished which makes the cuff links look incredibly cheap.
I emailed with my concerns and received rude replies simply stating that they were not refundable.
I would stay clear and not waste your money!!

The cufflinks are not hollow inside like you've described, that is completely inaccurate.
You may have not liked the design, which is fine, we cannot help that but the cufflinks themselves are very good quality.

You had the cufflinks engraved and therefore they're sadly non-refundable. If you'd had purchased the cufflinks online with no engraving then a refund would have been no issue whatsoever.

I placed an order job with badge and Brown on 27/11/2023 which they state that at time of order, I receive the items between 5 to 7 days after three weeks of no communication from the company I emailed on the 14/12/2023 and phoned several times. Without an answer. I emailed again. On the 19/12/2023 without receiving a reply chasing my order I again phoned this time a lady answered. I informed her my concerns and a simple question. Would I be received my items before Christmas she could even say yes or no, but was undecided only that she hopes the items would be into them for them to engrave and send out so left me not knowing for certain if I’d be receiving these items. After my unified answer, she passed me to the owner believed to be Christopher Lee. He immediately shouted at me abusively. I wouldn’t give me the chance to explain my situation he just continue shouting and said unless I apologise you can forget having my items I tried to calm him down and ask him to look at my situation. He refused hung up on me again immediately called back, and Christopher Lee answered the phone, I tried to ask him how are you process the refund he just immediately shouted demanding that I apologise. I’m not sure what I’d be apologising for as I am the customer who is waiting for items that been ordered over four weeks ago, he immediately hung up on me again leave me not knowing if I’m receiving my items or receiving a refund. I tried again to call him back but they refused to answer the phone. I’ve contacted my bank to report this as a scam and potential fraud. I hope people have the time to read this review in the hope. Companies like this aren’t allowed to get away with treating people and customers in this manner when a simple email or a firm confirmation when these items would be received. I’ve looked at many reviews for this company and he’ll carry a similar theme rude aggressive behaviour. And putting the phone down when things aren’t going their way they’re happy to take your money but not happy to supply the items and give good customer service.

now just received a reply with complete fabrications and lies. I feel the need to add to this message and review to clarify. There was no mention of him hanging up on me just how his company is not fulfilling their orders again no mission no apology no offer of refund nothing
PLEASE TELL ME HOW YOU ARE GOJNG TO REFUND ME OR ARE YOU SIMPLY GOING TO IGNOR THIS PART AND ANY PARTS YOU CANT ANSWER AGAIN VERY POOR SERVICE

And furthermore maybe if you reply to your email when sent on the 19/12/2023 and also the forms your website customer would have some reassurance

And again just for the record my phone show exact call times.
Ie 1sr 9.50am lasting 10 minutes including speaking to the owner who hung up
2nd call 10.03am lasting 43 seconds when you again hung up after shouting at me
3rd call 10.04 am which you didn’t answer

Again this company should be avoid I email them 3 more times regarding a refund as item never received
I had one reply saying I sign for these item with a signature that’s not mine when raised this with Chris surprise surprise no response but has the time to edit this review with another pack of lies
It look like if they are an honest company you would think I would of received a refund
This platform is the only way I seem to get any sort of communication with this company so let’s hope I receive a refund and I will be able to edit this review again to say this matter is now closed, but I won’t hold my breath because I doubt this will ever be the case. My bank has been informed and the investigating the fraudulent scam and reporting the company and their bank

Due to huge demand this year (70% up on last December, which was a record Christmas then) that we were not expecting we sadly ran out of certain ring sizes.

We emailed ALL customers to inform them of this issue and to say the rings will be dispatched when production was finished, which would be w/c 17/12. The rings were dispatched that week and delivered and signed for on 22nd December

Nicola received a phone call from you and you spoke with her for a full ten minutes. Nicola apologised about 6/7 times but it wasn't good enough for you. You kept repeating yourself, telling Nicola we've ruined your Christmas.

I had to take control of the phone call and you were the same with me. 15 minutes later I had to hang up on you. You were very rude to us.

In business complications can arise. We ALL try our best here and we feel we offer a very good service.

I was looking for a keepsake for my grandson.
Excellent customer service regarding my enquiries.
Very pleased with the sterling silver cufflinks, plain oval design with small diamond. The engraving on matching tie clip is very easy to read. I have no complaints and would definitely recommend B&B.

Wow is that what you call customer service

After leaving my honest review and telling the member of staff how I felt I got a phone call from a member of staff who was being patronising and called me a names and some other nasty things hung up the phone and told me to go and smack my wife around. very professional company this is. I would avoid them at all costs.

Very pleased!

I was on the hunt for a pair of cufflinks for my boyfriend's birthday and wasn't sure which company I should go with, but I'm very glad I chose Badger and Brown. They're great quality and arrived on time. I would definitely purchase from them again!

I had a special date engraved on them to make it that more personal.
Very impressed with the outcome.

Well satisfied

Tried several jewellery stores and could not get the size ring required for my grandsons finger for his 18th birthday present .
Badgerandbrown we’re very helpful and also engraved the ring with his initials on it , and delivery was as promised on time , would use again.

I had very poor dealing with Badger & Brown. I was initially given design work that we advised had change. Based on previous bad reviews we did not want to proceed unless a new mock up was provided. The company would not revise the mock up as they are clearly reliant on mistakes being made hence some of the poor reviews. I would not give this company any money or recommend them.

The online reviews explain the conduct of this owner after posting an honest review.

As a business we go far and beyond for ALL our customers by offering FREE mock ups.

Monica decided to leave a 1-star review after not receiving an email back from Nicola after only a few days. The non-response was simply because Nicola is only part time and works three days a week, it would have been responded to on her return to work.

Running a business can be challenging but even more so when we receive bad reviews for no reason.

Poor Quality

I was delivered sterling silver cufflinks as a wedding gift for my groomsmen. They were delivered with lots of scratches on the face and generally looked very poor, presumably from the engraving process.

I raised this with the company and they told me ‘sterling silver is a delicate metal’ and I should ‘use a silver polishing cloth, there are lots of tutorials online for this’.

So it is apparently my responsibility to source a polishing cloth and repair goods that have been delivered in a poor condition, when they haven’t even been worn yet.

Maybe B&B should actually perform quality control, rather than sending out products not fit for purpose and pushing responsibility onto their customers.

In reply to Badger and Brown. They have not offered me a return or exchange so they have not seen the goods in person. I provided them clear photos of the damage. The only solution suggested is that I must go and purchase a cloth and buff out the scratches myself. Beware - they are never wrong!

As explained in the email correspondence there are no physical scratches on the cufflinks, certainly to the human eye.

Sterling silver is very delicate and in extreme light you could potentially see hairline scratches, which was what you were showing us. We kindly asked you to remove them with a silver cleaner and polishing cloth and until today when you've decided to leave a bad review, we've not heard back from you. These will remove with that process.

QC is very high here, as is customer service. Any damage to any product is replaced or refunded straight away. I am very lucky to employ highly conscientious staff and they check all products before engraving. The cufflinks we sent you do not have any physical scratches on them.

If the team saw any hairline scratches prior to dispatch they would have cleaned them. It could be that they simply did not see any.

Please try the process we've suggested and if you're still encountering issues then contact us again

Delightful shiny cufflinks

I ordered the guitar plectrum cufflinks in silver to be engraved. The arrived 2 days later and are absolutely delightful! Very shiny and look beautiful in the grey box. Customer service is brilliant: on the phone they advised on a few products I was interested, even weighing them for me, to give me an idea how they were in real life.
Will definitely use B&B for future presents!

Bought 4 pairs of cufflinks recently, all came very quickly and was notified of tracking etc. Had an issue with one due to damage in delivery, contacted the company who replied and sorted issue immediately, very happy with the service and would use again.
