Company from hell

I purchased a dual-head sander that shreds the sandpaper after about 10 minutes of run-time. My initial contact with support was very professional and I had high hopes that the issue would be resolved. After the 3rd phone call informing them that I was installing the paper correctly and that the machine still didn't hold the paper, I asked to speak to a supervisor, who informed me that I had only called once before and that I was satisfied with the service they provided. He refused to do anything further and explained that, while I was trying to get the sander fixed, my warranty had expired and there was no reason to call again. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

I am just so disappointed

I am just so, so disappointed! I ordered a metal lathe that cost 18,000. Came with small, very small damage to the crate, which is literally one step above cardboard and totally inadequate. Anywhoo, turns out the on off switch is totally snapped off. Baileigh sent out diagrams and explosions to find the part. NOT LISTED!!! The power switch! They don't even understand what that IS.....so THAT is still damaged. So at the same time I ordered a 6000 drill press that was back ordered. Well. Guess what tried to show up TODAY. The frieght company actually called me early on my cell. The crate has damage. They went ahead and sent me pics so that I could decide weather or not to accept. NOPE!!! So much damage it looks like a giant baby picked it up and threw it against the wall a couple of times!!!! I thought that Baileigh was supposed to be one of the best. I am so happy that they charged an arm and leg to ship a plasma, that made me look for one closer and I bought from a small company in my state. I think Baileigh is too big for it's britches and it's time for them to come the f down.

False Advertising and Bad Business

I ordered "their" combination squares and what showed up was iGaging squares. Made in China and available on Amazon for half of what I paid. When I called to have this returned I was told by Craig that "there is no one in our return department and you will get a call back in a week or so". What? The return policy says 10 days and this would put me outside of it. When I first called I asked about their squares and Craig said "we do not offer combination squares". I had to give him the order number, which pulled up an angle gauge, and then I had to give him a SKU to be able to even find it. This is just ridiculous.

I just bought a baileigh 33 ton press…

I just bought a baileigh 33 ton press brake, cnc bender and notcher. All 3 pieces of equipment are overseas junk. No one can get the press brake to bend repeatedly or even close. 12 degrees difference between bends with same settings, now they don’t know what to and told me I probably have a hydraulic problem but they will not fix it. The tubing bender is cheap and won’t bend repeatable bends. Always having to re home the machine. The notcher is set on 2.25” tubing to notch a 1.750 pipe properly. Biggest waste of money ever with no customer support.

For the professional shop don't buy…

For the professional shop don't buy equipment from Baileigh. I had a flood in my shop and had to fix a band saw I had purchased a few years before. They were unable to come up with a wiring diagram that in any way matched the machine.
The VFD was bad and they were unable to provide a way of programing it.
The machine isn't bad but don't ever plan on fixing one of their machines. The quality is two steps above Harbor Freight and the documentation is 3 steps below.

Buyer beware

3 years ago I outfit my entire metal shop with several pieces of equipment including their 8ft CNC pres brake, RD250 tubing bender, tubing notcher and a couple other pieces. I was excited about buying tools that were “Made in America”. The issues started right off the truck. The Press brake was made by YSD, a Chinese company. It looked nothing like the unit we purchased. Once off loaded and assured it was the “new model” we went through their setup procedures step by step only for it to clear all the presets and render the tool useless. After back and forth with Baileigh tech support for 3 weeks they finally agreed to send out a tech. For 2 days we watched the tech learn how to use this machine that he had never seen before. We did get the unit operating after 2 days and of course the entire thing was on my dime to the tune of $2000. 9 months later the hydraulic pump went bad. We spent a month fighting with Baileigh to get it fixed under warranty. That was another month of down time. Since the. We have had the guide blocks break as they are cast units. We called Baileigh again and the run around began again. I didn’t have time for another month of downtime so I machined my own replacements from a block of billet tool steel. The hydraulic hoses all have sprung leaks at the fittings and I have replaced them all. This unit is only 3 years old and gets about 10 hours of use per week. Now my tubing bender has just randomly stopped working. I have been calling for Tech support and only get the answering machine and no calls back. More down time coating me money. I can not recommend Baileigh Industrial to anyone. You’re better off buying Harbor Freight (that’s sarcasm).
Avoid Baileigh if you value your investment. They were great to work with until they cashed the check.

Baileigh makes some attractive tools......but

Baileigh makes some attractive tools, but I was very disappointed to find that assembling the tools is made difficult by very amateur quality documentation that comes with them. I bought a fairly expensive metal bandsaw and it came in a wood crate from China. The numerous parts had to be assembled, but the illustrations were a fail. Photos and drawings were hard to see because they were tiny. I ended up with left-over parts and it took six emails to find out what they were for. That went on for over a week. The product also has some design flaws making it impossible to do some very simple tasks. The bad service leaves me doubting that Baileigh Industrial will be a long term player.
