Written by the company

Welcome to Baked Clay London, the independent British luxury fashion house exclusively dedicated to little girls. Creative director & founder, Adam Laws. Our story began with an idea then notes scribbled down on scraps of paper. The name Baked Clay was chosen to evoke a sense of origin, specifically that of Adam, the forefather of all humanity, who was formed from clay that had been baked to perfection. Adam Laws, the founder and creative director of Baked Clay London had a vision of providing little girls with clothing that was elegant, sophisticated, stylish, and timeless. Our belief is that every girl should feel confident and empowered through their sense of fashion. In honouring this belief, we have named all our dresses after great women pioneers and role models, celebrating the achievements of these remarkable women while also providing a source of inspiration for young girls to pursue their dreams. A special rhyme is lovingly embroidered onto the organic cotton lining of every dress, a heartening and uplifting that inspires and empowers little girls across the globe.

Baked Clay London

We have purchased three dresses from Baked Clay for our three year old daughter. They are all very pretty, and you would certainly not realise this is a new start up company, given the exquisite detailing of each piece. They all arrived with out a scrap of plastic not even on the tag, praise indeed for this. Best of all our Daughter is very excited when twirling around the cottage in them, attending church or quite frankly any time she picks one to put on, which is most of the time. A lot of thought, care and design has gone into each dress, and Baked Clay is certainly a company going places. We look forward to the next collection! P.s they wash well too!
