Bag didn't even last one year
I purchased a Balenciaga Rodeo bag at the Rue Saint-Honoré boutique in Paris in June 2025 for €3,000.
After only 6 months of normal use, the corners showed significant material deterioration.
Balenciaga refused to apply the legal warranty, stating the damage was due to “friction.”
So please, if you are looking for a bag designed to last for many years, I would not advise investing in Balenciaga.
The handling of the case was also very disappointing and did not reflect the level of service one would expect from a luxury brand.
I have escalated the case through official consumer authorities.
I would rate it 0 if I could
I would rate it 0 if I could.
My Bel Air bag broke twice - the first time within 10 days and within 5 days the second time.
After the first bag broke I spent 3 months with costumer service trying to get my money back. They kept denying and would not for the life of me offer anything but a repair. Even thought my bag BROKE after only 10 days of the purchase. It was absolutely ridiculous.
I then coincidentally moved to Paris after the 3 months and went to the store with my friend and her mom as back up - I kept asking if this was really the quality of Balenciaga and I did not back. They whole thing was very wierd because they tried to be so discreet about it but at the end they offered me a new bag. Still not my money back. It seemed like the best offer I could get (I think they are absolute hustlers, like REALLY? My bag literally broke and no refund, really??) But oh well, that second bag broke after 5 days. After that they gave me my money back. Adeleine the store manager seemed quite embarrassed, she was not very friendly that second time around, which she had been over text. She sent me a present when I had the second bag delivered which was macaroons. Not that it wasn’t nice but seriously.. I have had a f broken bag that I paid 4000€ for for months on end and the Balenciaga sends me macaroons together with their horribly arrogant service?
Never ever ever ever ever will I shop at Balenciaga again. Another sales rep even told me that they knew when the Bel Air came that it would be a sensitive bag and they had gotten a lot of reclaims. A 4000€ bag mind you. Horrible. What a waste of resources in all ways possible - poor cow that had to die for Balenciaga’s horrible quality.
Not a luxury just a joke
Balenciaga feels like a social experiment to see how stupid people are willing to look for a logo. Absurd prices, zero effort designs, and quality that doesn’t even try to justify the cost. Calling this “luxury” is embarrassing. It’s not fashion — it’s a joke with a price tag.
I ordered shoes from the Balenciaga…
I ordered shoes from the Balenciaga online boutique as a Christmas gift. The parcel was marked as delivered by DHL, but I never received it.
After more than three weeks of investigation, Balenciaga informed me that the delivery was considered successful, even though the proof of delivery shows a signature that is not mine.
My claim was rejected and I was referred to their General Conditions of Sale. For a luxury brand, this level of customer support in a case of a missing, high-value order is very disappointing.
Just a show on TV Moda of pathetically…
Just a show on TV Moda of pathetically rubbish display of fashion FW25/26 Balenciaga, turned up collars on jackets like gone off stale slices of bread, models looking like stiff dummies out of a morgue, uneven sizing looks like they the items of clothing are too oversized as the person who is wearing it just suddenly when't on an Mounjaro slimming plan, horrible to see
4,500€ bag, 49€ service level
I ordered a 4,500€ Bel Air Carry All from Balenciaga’s online boutique and the experience from start to finish has been embarrassingly poor.
First, the website simply did not work. Checkout kept getting stuck at the delivery step no matter which device or browser I used. For a luxury brand, having a completely broken checkout is shocking.
I then contacted them on WhatsApp as instructed. The bot promised I’d be connected to an advisor “shortly” – and then nothing. No reply, no follow-up, just silence. For hours.
In the end I had to call customer service myself. The person on the phone was helpful and sent me a payment link so I could finally place the order manually. Not exactly the frictionless luxury experience you expect at this price point, but at least the order went through.
The bag arrived quickly (next day), but the personalization I ordered was missing. So even after all this hassle, the order was still incorrect. I’ve again contacted them via WhatsApp as they suggest, and once more: “we’ll be with you shortly”… and then total radio silence.
To summarize:
• Non-functional website checkout
• WhatsApp “support” that doesn’t respond at all
• Manual phone order needed
• Bag delivered without the requested customization
For 4,500€ I expect competence, communication and attention to detail. What I got was a service level closer to a 49€ fast-fashion order.
Beware
Beware: Extremely Deceptive Experience at Balenciaga Forum Shops Las Vegas
Today I visited the Balenciaga store at the Forum Shops in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. After browsing for a few minutes, I decided to purchase their discovery pack of colognes. Before completing the purchase, the salesperson (Lino Garcia) insisted that we create an online account, saying it would help with returns, exchanges, or any issues with the order. However, immediately after the transaction, he told us that returns or exchanges were only valid for shoes. It felt misleading and dishonest to pressure us into creating an account under false pretenses. Since we had no intention of returning the item, we didn’t argue.
A few minutes after we left, the same salesperson (Lino Garcia) called us to say he forgot to include a few samples that were supposed to come with our purchase. Since we were still nearby, we went back. That’s when the situation became even worse. He told us that because his store printer failed to print a receipt for our purchase, we would need to either pay again or return the item. We showed him the bank transaction clearly proving that we had already been charged, but he refused to accept it.
I asked to speak with the manager and explained everything, but she was not helpful at all. The assistant store manager (Gracie Cancino) claimed that if their store didn’t print a receipt, then as far as they were concerned, the transaction didn’t happen—even though the money had already been withdrawn from our account. She told us we would have to wait two days for a refund for a transaction that she insisted never went through. So now we are left with money taken from our account and no item from Balenciaga.
I am extremely disappointed by this experience. I will never shop at Balenciaga again and strongly advise others to avoid this store. The entire situation felt like a scam.

I ordered a pair of Balenciaga sneakers…
I ordered a pair of Balenciaga sneakers on 6/24/25 for my birthday which was 7/2/25. I never received my package, no signature was signed, over a month ago they finally agreed to refund me I have not recieved $1. You cannot talk to a supervisor they are very short with you and don’t care that you are missing thousands of dollars. Horrible experience I’m still waiting on my funds
I’ve been a loyal Balenciaga customer…
I’ve been a loyal Balenciaga customer for years. I own multiple handbags, sneakers, and accessories, and have always chosen the brand for its bold design and supposed commitment to quality and client care.
Unfortunately, that trust has been broken.
I purchased a handbag for around $2,500, wore it only once, and kept it safely stored in its original dust bag. Not long after, the surface began to show visible damage — a clear defect that should never happen with such a high-end item.
I reached out to Balenciaga’s customer service expecting support. After weeks of back and forth, I was told:
– The item is no longer in production.
– It cannot be repaired or repainted.
– No credit or exchange will be offered.
In other words: I’m left with a nearly new handbag, visibly damaged, with no solution from the brand. This would be unacceptable from any brand — and it’s especially appalling coming from one at the luxury level.
Other luxury houses I’ve dealt with in the past have handled similar issues with care and respect, offering store credit or product replacement. Balenciaga, sadly, refused to take any responsibility.
This will be my last purchase with the brand.
If you’re considering buying Balenciaga, I strongly recommend rethinking it — the post-sale support is not what a luxury customer should expect.
What happened
What happened. The clothes are so expensive and horrible.
bought two pairs of shoes balenciaga venice
bought two pairs of shoes. In the same month one remained completely intact and one is crumbling the plastic of the sole like butter the shop says it does not depend on the product follies and then why the other shoe bought a week later does not have the same problem they are two different models, that is clearly a production problem I will never buy Balenciaga again
incredibly unprofessional BALENCIAGA EUROPE
incredibly unprofessional behavior on the Balenciaga Europe e-shop. when registering a return, no one has responded to email or WhatsApp to this day. cannot be sent anywhere because I do not recommend sending at your own expense and the phone has been unavailable for several days. absolutely do not recommend
Worst shopping experience ever
1. The bag was on the webshop, but still not available.
2. The webshop suggested to send it from the local shop in Hamburg.
3. Making a mistake that caused UPS to bill me for import expenses.
4. It took one month for Balenciaga to correct the mistake.
5. Countless calls and messages to customer service with no or pointless responses. The courier also contacted Balenciaga with no response.
6. When the bag finally arrived it had obviously been used for demonstration in the showroom.
7. No apologies, compensation or follow up from Balenciaga.
Five star service!
Balenciaga in the Miami Design District has incredible service. I bought a pair of shoes that I didn’t like once I put them on at home, and they quickly arranged for an exchange over text message, for a completely different style. They set up the exchange so that I could pull up to valet, run inside, switch pairs, and walk right back out. The new pair was all wrapped and boxed and ready to go. They offered a water bottle to go and even remembered my dog’s name. Really above and beyond.
I’ve never seen a brand that makes…
I’ve never seen a brand that makes people so mad that they will write an entire paragraph about it, and if those same people see you in public they will look away from you in anger and jealousy. I don’t think any of these people realize no one pays retail for any of this either unless you’re an absolute sucker which is even funnier. Balenciaga is very cool and fun, and there’s a reason everyone from H&M to Saint Laurent is copying their designs to try to get a piece of their success. This shit literally makes people question their status in life when you pull up with it and it’s absolutely hilarious because in the end it’s literally just some clothes. Cotton and mesh with a logo. And people get so bent out of shape about it immediately and will go out of their way to cope about how being able to afford it is stupid and how the clothes are a rip off. Demna lives rent free in the minds of many. Definitely consider a piece from this brand one day.
very funny
I'm not a buyer
when I'm bored I just look at their products and just laugh so hard, who the hell would wear this and especially for the price that's just insane
I am extremely disappointed that…
I am extremely disappointed that Balenciaga continues to work with UPS, a company that has proven to be completely incompetent. For three days, my urgent order has not been delivered, and now even further delays have occurred.
Today, when the courier finally arrived, he refused to accept cash payment because the card machine didn’t work. Despite my urgency, he simply walked away without delivering my package.
I contacted customer service three times, and two agents assured me that my package would arrive today. However, a third agent suddenly claimed nothing could be done and even refused to connect me with a supervisor or provide a complaint email. She then hung up on me.
I find it outrageous that Balenciaga entrusts its deliveries to a company that operates in such an unprofessional manner. I have lost all trust in ordering from you because UPS is damaging your brand’s reputation. If a luxury brand cannot guarantee a reliable shipping service, what’s the point of selling "exclusive" products?
This experience has convinced me to never order from Balenciaga again. You can keep your products—I will take my business elsewhere. I strongly urge you to reconsider your partnership with UPS before more customers are lost due to their incompetence and lack of accountability.
