Please improve pacaging
Received a good product but the packaging was awful. The box with ceramic pots was filled with loose small plastic stuffing/filling that was extremely difficult to clean up. My cat got some small particles from the stuffing on his fur and accidentally swallowed when trying to clean himself. Please consider using paper or cardboard alternatives that are much safer and easier to recycle

Dear Ann, I am so sorry you had a bad experience with our packaging.
We use paper, bio degradable corn filling and bubble plast made from recycled plastic. But we do also reuse a lot of the packaging that we receive from our vendors. So maybe you have been unfortunate and received some of the reused plastic.
We are always interested in improving our packaging and making it as sustainable as possible, and reusing the filling we receive is a part of it. I am so sorry if it ended up in your cats stomach!
Could it be the biodegradable filling that you received? It looks a lot like plastic, but is actually made from corn and can be easily dissolved in water and used for watering your plants or poured directly in the drain.

Balsalen was a pleasure to deal with. After weeks of searching they had exactly the Berg’s Potter items I was looking for, despite being sold out everywhere else. The team kindly shipped the pots I bought to me in the UK - which I don’t think is something they’ve done before. My posts were well packaged and delivered without a hitch after a brief initial delay. We had wonderful communication despite the language divide. A wonderful shop and I’d buy again any time.
