Bamboo Dental Reviews 

Im in my 40’s now and finally made the decision to get my bottom teeth straightened. I had 6 month smile option. I went back and fore over whether or not to do it. I have TMD and my jaw can get stuck open for long periods of time. I also have an anxiety disorder which doesn’t help. I explained all this to my dentist - Dr Oli Spencer. He was amazing and explained everything to me in the consultation and the following appointments when I decided to go ahead. Oli was very considerate of my jaw issues and allowed me to move my jaw as needed. Fitted me in when I was panicking about little things. Encouraged me to trust the process and treated me with kindness. And his assistants were also extremely kind and reassuring. It was 6 months from the initial appointment but I actually only had the braces on for 4 months. I was worried about tooth sensitivity so I wanted to wait a while and make sure everything is okay. It’s been almost 3 weeks since I had them off now and I’m so happy with the final result. Can’t recommend Oli and the whole Bamboo team enough.

The staff were lovely and accommodating and Olie did such a great job straightening and shaping my teeth. Highly recommend

The service was first class throughout my treatment. I had major issues with my braces constantly breaking them (It took me until the final month to realise I was chewing too hard) and Tom and the team were extremely patient with me. Any issues I had were dealt with promptly and professionally. My teeth now look lovely and I have regained the confidence to smile! Thank you Tom and all the team at Bamboo Dental!

Where do I start!

I contacted Bamboo Dental back in March 2024.I had a consultation with Oli and spoke about all my concerns with my teeth. I have a chipped tooth and was worried how wonky they looked. We discussed what route would be best for me and suggested the 6 Month Smile Plan. Every appointment was enjoyable and very welcoming! Oli and his team were very knowledgeable and answered any questions or concerns I had. My braces came off in August and finished the Bonding Treatment today!

I cannot thank the team enough! Huge thank you to Oli for making me feel confident! Will definitely be recommending to family and friends!

Bamboo dental were professional friendly and dedicated to what I wanted to achieve from start to finish. I had my 6 month smile with Dr Oli Spencer and he went above and beyond. I'm so pleased with the final result.

I initially wasn't fully happy with the results after my braces came off and left a review stating the reasons that even though the service off the dentists and staff were excellent I had 1 tooth that was still a bit crooked and my new crowns at the front were really shiny and had a dip in 1. The owner reached out to me and asked me to go in and discuss things. He agreed with my concerns and offered a solution. I had new crowns made and replaced and instead of having the braces back on had the 1 tooth leveled out with bonding. I can honestly say my teeth are now perfect and even with my initial concerns the practice completely did everything they could to give me a perfect smile. I would and have 100% recommend them. Thankyou to everyone at the practice.

I spoke to a colleague of mine today who had a partner that went to get his teeth straightened at this establishment a few years back.

Everything was going ok until one visit when one lady that works there (ex dentist I believe) who he had never seen up til that day, adjusted his teeth incorrectly and as a result it killed the nerve and the top of tooth went black after a few days. When the lady who performed the over adjustment was questioned by him on his next visit, she told him that this sometimes happens and took no responsibility or liability that she did anything wrong. He waited til the end of his treatment, all the time feeling depressed that he has this dark shade at the top of one of his incisors (the front four teeth) as thats not what he saved up to pay for. At the end of the treatment it had seemed to had gotten worse. But he was told nothing could be done, the lady responsible for the over adjustment wouldn't admit she'd made a mistake and even after the whitening service was performed, the dark shade at the top of his tooth was still showing through and had spread to almost a quarter of the way down from the gum line. I asked my collegue what happened after that? The answer was nothing, he wasn't 100% satisfied but Bamboo offered no compensation for this gross negligence neither was he offered no apology as this would admit that they made a mistake.

I'm writing this because I was thinking of using their service but as it turns out, the personell that work there might not even be qualified orthodontists, I will research them further to find out if this is true.

I'm writing this review to let others know that as good as all these good reviews are, there are unhappy customers too, so please keep this in mind that things can go wrong and do some research before you allow any company to perform any life changing procedures on yourself. The results aren't 100% guaranteed.

I won't be using their service though, as I just don't feel comfortable with an establishment that doesn't own up to its mistakes or try to rectify them and if they aren't even qualified orthodontists then I struggle to see how they have any business performing such procedures that could affect a person's well being and mental health for the rest of their life. Excellent experience and extremely happy with the outcome . My dentist was Tom and I found him and the dental nurse’s very professional and Helpfull .

I travelled from the Midlands to have my teeth done with Sam and I am ecstatic with the results. Sam is a true perfectionist and really made sure my teeth still looked natural which was really important to me. His nurse Migle is very caring and always did a good job too.

I am extremely happy with the results of my invisalign retainer ,I’m always nervous going to the dentist but I was put at ease straight away, I can’t recommend Bamboo dentist enough.

I cannot stress enough how good my experience has been with Bamboo. From the very first phone call to the day my braces came off. The staff have been friendly, informative and supportive.
The treatment journey was explained in detail to me and expectations set from my first assessment appointment.
Every appointment I had an explanation on what we working on to create the smile I wanted.
I had composite bonding also as part of my treatment and again the experience was amazing, we discussed my options and what I'd like my teeth to look like. Everything about my treatment at Bamboo was amazing. The staff, service and quality of treatment was everything and more than I expected. A special thank you to my dentist Sam who got my teeth looking perfect just in time for my wedding even though it was tight for time he was determined to get me there and I was beyond grateful. Going from someone who hated smiling and certainly never showed her teeth to someone who can’t stop showing her teeth off and smiling all the time is very special and all thanks to bamboo.

I had a fantastic experience with Bamboo Dental. I’d been wanting to have my teeth straightened for many years, and finally decided to have a consultation. At the first appointment, Dr Tom checked the health of my teeth, took X-rays and then talked me through the options, explaining the pros and cons. There wasn’t any pressure to decide there and then, but I went with fixed braces. The appointments for the whole course of treatment were arranged and it was great to have early morning appointments to fit with work. Tom was an excellent dentist and took time at each appointment to explain any changes to the braces and let me know how treatment was progressing. The final results were fantastic and the process was smooth. There were never any delays and I was always seen at the appointment time. The dental practice was clean, well organised and all the staff were very friendly. Thanks to everyone at Bamboo!

From start to finish the entire process was sweet and seamless. I went in for a consultation in January with the goal of completing the 6 month smile programme in time for July before my holiday and they delivered. I have now finished my treatment in time for my holidays with the support of the guys catering to these needs by booking in extra appointments, ensuring my retainer took priority so It came back in time. Oliver has changed my smile and I am over the moon. and If i ever considered more cosmetic dental work in the future (It would be hard to top what I have now) this is the only place I would consider 100/100

Prior to visiting Bamboo Dental I had seen a couple of dentists to carry out the treatment I needed. And from the 1st minute of the 1st appointment I felt comfortable and reassured that they were the dentist for me. Im so glad and feel I made the right choice. Throughout the whole treatment and follow up I can only say I am very pleased with my treatment and would highly recommend to anyone. Bamboo were very professional and friendly from start to finish. From start to finish everything was great at Bamboo. I was unsure whether I could have Invisalign treatment as I had bad crowding and out of line teeth, but Dr Tom Evans assured me that the treatment would work, and it worked out better than I could have hoped for. I am really please and would highly recommend.
