Three main things: 1) Price point for the visuals, features, and build platform is great - they make it all easy and who wants to sweat unnecessary web site details. 2) Unbelievable, stellar support... See more

This is my first time attempting to build a website. I found Bandzoogle to be intuitive and easy to use. My website is functioning with several pages in the first 12 hours of working on it. I look forward to working with Bandzoogle to maximize the page.

I’ve been using Bandzoogle since 2012, and while it has definitely helped me earn income through my music website, I have some mixed feelings about the platform.
Pros:
• Easy to set up: Bandzoogle makes it simple to build a clean website using templates. For small or basic sites, it’s quick and intuitive.
• Email list management included: It’s great that email list tools are built in and free to use.
• Monetization: The platform has allowed me to make real income from my site, which I appreciate.
• Customer service: Support used to be excellent—fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. It’s still decent, but I’ve noticed a decline since Bandzoogle was acquired by DistroKid. Now they will let your site crash and burn for hours (because of something they did) before responding. It makes me wonder if the support team was downsized.
Cons:
• Frequent technical issues: My website occasionally breaks without warning. This is happening again today, which is why I’m writing this review. My site has been down for hours, and customers can’t access it. No updates from support so far. Similar issues have happened before—once, all my products suddenly looked bizarre and unreadable. The worst part is that I only found out because customers emailed me; Bandzoogle had no idea there was a problem, so I don’t even know how long it had been broken.
• Limited flexibility: You’re stuck with the features and layouts Bandzoogle offers. Customization options are very limited.
• No site search: Customers can’t search for products or content, which makes navigation frustrating.
• Ecommerce limitations: The store setup is clunky. You can’t drag and drop files when creating products, so adding new items—especially a lot of them—is tedious.
• Poor product display options: There’s no way to let customers choose between versions of a product using a dropdown menu or similar feature. Instead, you have to create separate listings, which clutters your store quickly.
• Awful product display defaults: After you’ve spent time creating a new product and writing a detailed description, you hit “Save,” go back to your page to admire your work—and find that it looks terrible. The product description is hidden because every store feature defaults to Bandzoogle’s useless grid setting.
• Not ideal for larger sites: The system becomes slow and cumbersome once your site grows beyond a few pages or products.
• Locked in: It’s impossible to export your site if you ever want to move to another web host. You’d have to rebuild everything from scratch.
I used to recommend Bandzoogle all the time for musicians. It’s still fine for small, simple sites, but I can’t recommend it as confidently anymore—especially for users who rely on their site for income.

Bandzoogle is easy to use, and a great way to learn how to build your own website. Being an independent artist it is a must have to show the world you are serious about your music.

Trying to learn how to use the site to create our website and finding it a little confusing.

The price is right and it's the best comprehensive way to have a band website and manage merch, album sales, email lists, etc. The printful integration makes it really powerful for independent artists who don't want to go through a merch company and have worse margins.

Cannot access my completed artist epk page once i clicked the booking epk option. The menu now no longer appears and only forces me to make the new booking epk page.
However, liked how easy it was to create a artist epk webpage and good templates.

After previous experiences with hosting companies whose customer service chats were generated by bots, I felt oddly reassured to see a Bandzoogle chat window that said "Sorry for the delay. We're still looking for somebody who is available to help you." This felt very human to me, and the chat that followed did, too. And it helped me solve my issue, which the bots from the previous company I used never did.

The price is reasonable and respectable. You are appreciated.
