Worst bank ever

Worst bank ever. If we have emergency then we have to wait a long time to clear a simple things. Its very hard to get bank statement. I never recommend the bank to anyone

Negative experience with Bank of Baroda

I wish to share some of my negative experiences of having to deal with Baroda Bank.
My husband banked with the UK branch of this Bank and after his death, it has taken 6 months for Baroda to release the funds to me, despite my having obtained a Grant of Probate.
I asked a solicitor to act on my behalf to obtain the funds. However, the Bank has been extremely slow to respond to her; often emails and phone calls have been left unanswered.

At one point, I was hopeful that the money would soon be released, but was then met with a demand for £600 to enable Baroda Bank to consult with their own solicitor.
This was despite the Grant of Probate being a current legal document secured in the UK. I felt I had no option but to pay this money.
However, still the money was not released. I also asked to see bank statements after the death of my husband so I could check the activity of account and determine exactly what was owing to me.
Again, my request was met with silence and I have seen only a screen shot of the closed balance instead of the statement which I had requested.

To add to my pain, I am still receiving letters addressed to my husband, two and a half years after his death, asking him to activate a new debit card.
At other times letters have been sent to him claiming that the account should be closed due to inactivity.

In all, I have had a terrible experience of Baroda Bank. Although I eventually received the funds, there were many times when I feared the money would never be released.
For all those people considering banking with Baroda, I would strongly urge you to go elsewhere or else risk suffering a catalogue of failures amounting to ineptitude, appalling customer care and obstructive behavior.

The worst bank in India

The worst bank in India. No good service. Employees are not responding property. They will give negligible answers to costomers. No proper ATM's, cash deposit machines, passbook printing machines in all branches.

i advise anyone with elderly relatives…

i advise anyone with elderly relatives and in general NOT TO USE the uk branches of this bank. went in with all power of attorney forms and ID and they are making it so hard for anyone to access their own money - it is the account holders money yet this bank , especially southall branch act like it is their money - appalling customer service , outdated processes, really hard to even get online banking and terrible attitudes to valued long time customers - will be talking to every possible avenue can find about their processes - how on earth can you refuse AN OFFICIAL UK GOVERNMENT APPROVED DOCUMENT which has already been certified with UK DOctors etc and with all IDs etc only then to have audacity to ask what we want OUR money for and if we have aGP letter - it is none of your concern - the AUDACITY of this bank is DISGUSTING - their hours dont suit the workign person and what takes an hour in any uk bank took 5 hours only then to be told " theere is no guarantee" if i could swear on here i would - the STUPIDITY AND RUDENESS is the worst ever seen - they make such hard work of everything then wonder why people get angry

Star rating should be read as 0.00001…

Star rating should be read as 0.00001 and not 1Star. As an NRI currently experiencing BoB as worst banking organisation. They have stolen my money from NRE account despite there is no direct debit authorisation, I do not have BoB credit card, hence notified International Business Branch and BoBFinancial, they have accepted it is an incorrect debit, but would not rectify and credit back the stolen money. Correspondence has been sent to all emails of the bank from Zonal to Regional to customer service but no action yet.

Bank of Baroda has given very bad…

Bank of Baroda has given very bad service and I am facing so much financial problem and mental harassment.
1. Delay in service, till date bank has not given application ID of PMAY.
2. Though on time installments are given bank is taking fine.
3. Branch manager and Zonal officer are not giving appropriate solution.
4. Zonal officer is not attending my calls.

Worst bank. Super outdated. Horrible service. Extreme lengthy process. For most basic stuff it takes 3+ hrs. Just shut your bank down

Went in to close my NRE account and was…

Went in to close my NRE account and was told not to close it and they will give me good service.
The Account was Dormant and they couldnt undormant it as the internet wasnt working
Went in Next day and was asked for passport and pancard copies and was told it will take 1 week Maximum to Close it
Next I rang the Manager and asked him and he said the account will be closed in 24 hrs and Money transferred to my other Bank NRE account
But the money wasnt sent as NRE and other bank rejected it so rang the Manager again and he asked me if I had any Normal Account
And I remined him the Account was NRE and was transffering to another NRE account and he said he will send me a message in 20 mins and 2 Weeks later still waiting for the message and he has switched off his Phone and doesnt answer WhatsApp either
this is Bhaily Branch in Vadodara Gujarat
PLEASE AVOID INDIA'S FIRST INTERNATIONAL BANK AS THEY DONT KNOW WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS

Not even upto 1 star.Such a bad customer service and rude behavior of the call center girl not knowing anything and how to speak to the customer.Just need money from overseas and giving zero value to the customer.What is the manager and ceo got this job for.Very Upset about the bank.Never had a nice experience from this bank

The different in service between branches

I went to the Kenton branch and was very disappointed in the level of customer care I received.

However, when I went to the Wembley Branch, excellent service was provided by Niyanta Shah. She listened to understand my concerns and was solution focused. More staff need to be like Niyanta!

Worst bank i have seen ever
My ATM card not working when i visited to branch they said one more debit card issued to your account. Even i didn't apply for new debit card. I ask them for resolution they said you have to apply for new debit card and did this but my debit card not issued yet after 5 months. I ask to customer care why my debit card is not posted to my address then senior customer care said there is a shortage delivery guys that's why your debit card can't send you to bank head office. Cheapest and worst bank service .

My in laws are 90 years old

My in laws are 90 years old, and this Bank has for 9 months sent them on a wild goose chase of sending the same papers multiple times, charging them for Bank authorized signatures and charging them every time for mistakes the Bank made - and this is just to activate a dormant account and get their money out. They have in their old age, in the poor English weather had to pay for taxis to and from the various branches as only a manager can provide signatures and the managers are always in meetings or out. This is the worst bank and I am thinking of reporting them for elderly abuse and theft if this matter is not sorted out shortly and they are able to access and get their money.
