Customers frequently faced problems with payments, often receiving fines despite having paid or finding the process difficult. Many people found the customer service unhelpful, unresponsive, and hard to contact. Reviewers also pointed out confusing or contradictory signage at car park locations, leading to unexpected and often escalating charges. However, some customers noted that their appeals were frequently ignored, rejected, or even resulted in increased penalties. A few others reported being unfairly fined despite not having parked or being unable to find a space.

Dodgy parking app and company

I parked at their Cavendish Street car park in Sheffield. Paid using their TwinPay app. App showed payment taken. Later that day when I returned to park a second time the app wasn't working so parked elsewhere just in case. Got a parking charge for the first parking despite having paid initially. Now the app shows I didn't pay so no way of challenging the charge! Highly suspicious and I agree with the other reviewer Gee Stone. Be warned.

Made up charges and fine. Bank Park is a con parking company

I paid for my parking and have proof on bank statement. Received a £60 fine and appealed. Still had to pay £20 admin fee as they said my reg number was input incorrectly. Highly unlikely but my ticket is long gone. They also charged an extra £1.50 for paying the fine by card. Absolute robbers and con people. Do not use this car park

I don’t even want to put a 1

I don’t even want to put a 1. Received a letter from this parking firm at the start of October demanding to pay £170 and that this was the final chance. The parking offence was in August but I had only just received the letter in October. The letter states that I had been given two chances already of paying but I had received absolutely no communication until the £170 letter. I am a nurse and has parked here for 20 minutes to attend a patient visit out in the community. I have emailed the complaints email that is on the letter twice, however have received no response. Also both letters that have been sent this month suspiciously arrive the day before the deadline. I will keep fighting, it’s not on!!

I was issued a Parking charge which I appealed against and had the charge dropped. 4 Weeks Later I got a reminder to pay, and 4 weeks later a Notice, of debt recovery. I've sent another email to their complaints section, and awaiting the outcome. There is NO telephone number that you can call to speak to anyone!

Robbing innocent people

I was charged for a parking which was recently changed the stay from 4 hours to 3 hours. I stayed little longer because of my illness and I was sent a parking ticket which stated I can pay reduce amount if I pay within 14 days. But when I try to pay, it doesn’t allow the reduce amount. The letter I received was on 7/10/25 but it says issue date 30/9/25. It’d taken 7 days to arrive? Parking company just want everyone to pay £100 fine regardless. Total scam, not sure how they are allowed to do this in country like UK, really disappointed.

A robbing company that try to fine you…

A robbing company that try to fine you in many ways. The Burgess Hill Market Place parking is free to pay after 6pm for a long time, but they change the time without clear signage! Even when I checked their website, it didn't show the time of charging period? When I appeal with proofs, they reply but threatening you to pay more? Burgess Hill is already like a ghost town? No one dare to go, don't think Waitrose supermarket is free to park here.....

I parked at Penine Five Car Sheffield …

I parked at Penine Five Car park in Sheffield after buying a ticket at Just Park. When I arrived there was a staff member stopping cars going in as they were repairing the door/roof. I told him i was slightly early he said it was fine, and when the work was finished I was waved in. Parked up went and donated blood which is why I was in the city centre, returned over an hour early and left thinking everything went well. Then I received a notice by email telling me I had not paid. I challenged this and they supposedly checked the notice but still said I owed £60 fine. Thus still did explain why I was being charged the fine.I have a feeling that the only time you will know if a car park is being run by these fraudsters will be after you have left and you get the notice.

They have a suspiciously clunky app

They have a suspiciously clunky app, anyone noticed this? It's almost as if they want it to screw up so they can fine you. Parked tbere weekly for three weeks, then randomly the payment didn't go through, despite my efforts and it saying parking had commenced. I'll be boycotting but their fines are hefty and their admin inhumame and AI generated. Be warned.

£170 for 10 minutes of parking.

£170 for 10 minutes of parking.
On 14th May, I parked in the Sheffield Quays Car Park, paying for 1hrs worth of parking. Unfortunatley I was delayed on the way back and my stay was 1hr 10mins.
To cut a long story short Bank Park thought it better to fine me rather than using common sense- this despite being a loyal customer who parked at least 3 times a week. Their customer service is shocking, almost impossible to get hold of and when you do they are curt and unhelpful.
The result of their antics is I now park somewhere else costing them over £500 per year in lost income.
WELL DONE PARK BANK- MAKING SHORT TERM CASH OVER RETAINING LOYAL CUSTOMERS!

Received a £100 fine at Burgess Hill

Received a £100 fine at Burgess Hill. My bank statement shows a £1 parking fee but reports from others say they will say this isn't proof. I paid it but will never use this car park again. MSDC owns the freehold of the shopping centre and its car park.

They have leased the site to NewRiver Retail (NRR) under a long-term lease.

Under that lease, NRR controls day-to-day management of the building and the car park.

NRR appointed BankPark as the parking operator.
Presumably because they charge extortionate invoices. Bank park seems to be some kind of predatory scam and I look forward to regulation coming in to close this typeof predation down. They try to obstruct challenges by demanding to receive notification from the scammed in writing as in physical letter. I think that is illegal.

Their website is some kind of practical joke.

There is a distinct reduction in people using this car park since bank park manage it. I hope they are not randomly charging drivers who have paid to make up for a shortfall in revenue.

They do acknowledge on their invoice thst they are prone to mistakes presumably as some kind of disclaimer.

Threats of debt collection for invalid fine!!!!

Invalid parking fine given to my parents. No customer service response. No customer service at all really. Multiple emails pointing out their mistake. No response, just more letters threatening debt collection and greater costs. Eventually, I said I wasn't paying, so they responded by saying the parking fine had been removed!!!!! A company that makes money through threats and pressure while having no customer service!!! I hope they sleep at night!!! They probably do, as they probably all make fantastic bonuses and go to bed laughing!!!!!!

I find it hilarious that when you try and pay and then complain that you can't pay online due to their shoddy website, that you get a rude response.
I think the staff need training in 'customer service skills' as they appear to be severely lacking. Already tracked the directors down .....complaint emails incoming lads! Negative ten stars from me!

Terrible bunch of anonymous cowards

This bunch runs a site at Victoria Quays in Sheffield. You can pay on exit by card (contactless) or use an app. If your preference is to pay by card, then you will probably leave with a PCN since more often than not the card reader is malfunctioning and will not take payment. Of course, you won't know this until you try to leave.
Bank Park say that they are not liable for problems with third-party payment methods. Well, it's not like anybody else has a responsibility to fix it, is it, you idiots? They're your machines. If they aren't your card machines, why are you taking the payments?
Oh, and the cowards won't put their names to anything. Avoid.

I can only describe this company as a SCAM business

I can only describe this company as a bunch of SCAM artists. My son got a parking ticket from them for non-payment, he had a debit from his account but no ticket as evidence so had to pay the PCN. Then last week, another !! this time he’d taken precaution had the receipt, a photo of the machine as he paid and his bank transaction - no excuses this time. Yes, they have cancelled the ticket with overwhelming evidence, however it does feel like they issue random tickets knowing people don’t keep receipts & struggle to evidence they have paid.

Scam Vulnerable Paying Customers

I paid for my parking and accidentally made an error with the reg number. contacted bank park before they issued the PCN to make them aware. they still wanted me to pay a hefty fine which I tried to appeal I contacted them on 10 plus occasions and all my emails were ignored - their appeal website is broken and they did not give me any warning or time line on my email appeal with them and only responded after a month of ignoring me to say my case was with debt collectors. I had to pay £170 as I was bullied into paying or risk a CCJ and higher costs for a service that I actually paid for. They run a pretty good scam by giving paying customers no real method of appeal and ignoring all their correspondence until they can palm it off to debt collectors and retrieve the max. 3 months of mental torture and anxiety for me, a pregnant young woman who has had to pay a weeks wage to avoid further penalisation after all routes of support and appeal failed to give me my options or explain my position.

Awful company

Awful company. Completely scam everyone by only having automated contact options, no ability to speak to anyone.

This is probably illegal. The appeal form for parking charges doesn’t work, then they increase the fine when they aren’t supposed to - parking charges should be put on hold when an appeal is made.

Unacceptable.
