I am the men’s captain of Thorpe bay lawn tennis club and bardown BBQ catered for over 50 of our members. They were extremely professional and had the food ready on time. They were easy to organise with and most importantly the food was delicious!

The best BBQ!

I first came across Bardown Barbecue at one of the Hylands food festivals and was obsessed with the food, I have traveled all through Texas and honestly this food is as good as. The Brisket is so tender and literally melts in your mouth, when I decided to have a western theme party I had to have Bardown cater. The main takeaways from the guests were that it was the best BBQ food they ever had. Honestly it’s so yummy, pulled pork, the sausages, the sides everything is spot on. Thanks to Jordan and team, you literally never disappoint and made the party!

We booked Bardown Barbeque for my partner’s 30th birthday and honestly could not have been happier. The food was absolutely incredible from start to finish and every single guest commented on how good it was. The quality of the meat, the flavour and the overall presentation were all outstanding.
Jordan and Sam were professional, friendly and really easy to deal with throughout the whole process, which made organising everything completely stress free. You can tell they genuinely care about what they do and it really showed on the day.
If you are looking for catering for a birthday, wedding or private event, I would highly recommend them. We will definitely be using them again.

I can't recommend Bardown Barbeque enough. The food was exceptional and I received countless compliments from my guests about it. The setup as well as the packing were done with no disruption and the communication before the event was easy, with prompt responses to my questions. I am looking forward to having Jordan and Sam doing the catering at some of my future events.

Best brisket I’ve ever had, would definitely recommend

Jordan did a pre wedding garden party BBQ for us; the food was outstanding, quite honestly the best burgers we’d ever tasted. The service was excellent from start to finish, would highly recommend and we will certainly be using Bardown BBQ again.

Jordan & Sam are a fantastic team providing professional service and outstanding food. I hired them to provide the catering at my 40th birthday party for 90 guests. They arrived on time, set up promptly and had the food ready at the requested time. The guests loved it, couldn’t believe how tasty all the food was, ‘burgers are unbelievable’, ‘wow the corn salad’, etc. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again and recommend to others. Jordan’s communication throughout the whole process was also outstanding. I have high standards and they both exceeded them, thank you so much!

Bardown catered for our recent business social event. Food was excellent and good value, service prompt and v friendly! Communications pre and post event excellent.

2nd time having food from this vendor at Essex food market and it’s absolutely unreal. The quality of the meat is unbeaten and prices are very reasonable! Can’t wait for the next time!

I booked Bardown for a special birthday and the food and service blew us and our guests away. Comms was great ahead of the party and the food itself was impeccable. The conversation of the whole party centred around Jordan and his bbq! Burgers were amazing but so was the pulled pork, sausages, wings and sides (especially the mexican corn 👏)

Had my husband's 40th birthday celebrations at Leigh on Sea brewery and Bardown provided the food. It was absolutely incredible. The PB&J burger was the best burger I have ever eaten and will definitely be back for another.

The team were so friendly and could not do enough for us - communication was great before the event. I would highly, highly recommend for a celebration or just a delicious takeaway! We will be back!

Absolutely banging food yesterday at the west road tap. Quick and delicious. The brisket burger was divine.

The food is incredible and service is Impeccable. I have been lucky enough to attend a few events that these guys have catered for. Absolutely outstanding!!. Best BBQ I have had and their Mac N Cheese is to die for!

Fairly priced, outstanding quality and cooked to perfection. Their brisket, burnt ends and pulled pork are the best!
Bardown BBQ catered for our summer party and their customer service and experience was 10/10. Ongoing communication throughout and went above and beyond. Such friendly people who can cook UNREAL food! Would highly recommend
