Great experience with Bargain Car Rentals at Hobart Airport. The guy at store was friendly and helpful, and the whole process was quick and easy. The Audi Q5 was clean, comfortable, and great to drive. Highly recommend!

Every thing went well especially pricing, customer representative and pickup/dropoff. However the vehicle needs to be retired as it was old, probably had a major accident and fixed up and over 100,000 kms on the clock. It had a very noisy engine and the steering was odd at low speed. Please be aware what you are actually hiring, if you decide to use Bargain.

Easy process, great staff!

Not impressed with self service check in. Only one young lady on the counter and very busy. Still had to see the young lady to finalise the check in and get the keys.
Another person on the desk when you would have been aware that there were a lot of pick ups at the same time.
Car drove well.

Easy check-in and drop-off process. Conveniently located at Hobart airport. Good vehicle, which was clean and fully fueled ready to go. Great price.

Staff were friendly. Had a problem with the first car - it wouldn't start - very rapidly changed over. All pleasant. Car was good, return was easy

You would have got a perfect score as all staff in the Airport and in the car park were very friendly, efficient and helpful. The only challenged was that all your clients arrived on the same flight and you only had one (very efficient and friendly) staff member on duty which slowed up the process a lot.

Bargain Car Rental is truly a great bargain! The prices were excellent, the staff was helpful, and the car was exactly as promised. The kiosk was conveniently located right on the airport premises, making the pickup process very easy.
The check-in process was fully automated and took almost no time at all. I received the car keys quickly, and the staff was extremely helpful throughout the process. Best of all, there was absolutely no pressure to purchase unnecessary upgrades or extras.
During the same trip, I also rented a car from Bargain in Sydney, and that experience was wonderful as well. Overall, I had a great experience with Bargain Car Rental and would definitely use them again and recommend them to my family and friends in Australia.

Service staff at airport were great plane delayed and office stayed open car clean and tidy and a great price

Make sure you take photos of every inch of every panel on the car. Apparently a small scratch on the door and a chip on the bumper was worth over $5000. The people on the phone were terrible and threatened me multiple times. Just disgusting. Ruined an otherwise great trip to Tasmania.

Pick up process was tedious. Was directed to use iPad within collection office to enter personal/payment details and capture photograph of drivers’ licence. Then still had to go through usual Q&A with an attendant. Car was a good brand (Subaru) and in fair condition—much better than some other rental companies use in the same class. One week after the rental, I had still not received a tax invoice. Googling suggested I needed to email Bargain to request one. Again, seems tedious, especially when Bargain has emailed me probably five times in in the interim period prompting for a review.

Staff were friendly and super helpful. Price was very reasonable.
