Price was fabulous and staff were very helpful. We decided while on holiday that we needed a second car as we wanted to do different activities. I booked online and accidentally booked the wrong dates. When we went in to pick up the car, they did not have my booking but then found it booked for a months time!! Even though it was totally my mistake, they found us a car for the week and even price matched

Good pricing, car was fine, ordered a car booster seat but when we arrived it wasn't installed so they had to do that, no big delay.

All cars should be inspected upon return. Mine wasn't. Now there accusing me of damage to vehicle.

The vehicle was in good condition. About 60,000km (so very new for a rental). Some minor scuffs and similar, and the tyres were not inflated correctly but this was easy to rectify! It drove nicely.
Pick up and drop off was easy.
The only criticism I have is that it wasn't obvious to me from the booking site that the standard insurance cover Bargain Car Rentals use does not cover things that I would expect like storm damage, or damage from an accident with an animal. Now this could be 'user error' and I missed something. The cost of taking additional cover from Bargain Car rentals to cover these types of things would almost double the (very inexpensive) hire cost. If you take their zero excess/walk away policy it more than doubles the hire rate quoted.
Historically pretty much all standard types of damage /stealing etc would be covered with the now industry wide eye wateringly high $5000+ excess. But no longer it seems.
So when deciding which company to hire from, maybe dig deep into their insurance offerings.

The staff at the counter were very polite and helpful. The vehicle I was given however was a dog! The steering was very bad and needed some serious workshop adjustment. It was an MG small SUV. I will never drive one of these again.

I was also disappointed that the return location at Coolangatta was not in the airport itself and we had to step through puddles in the car park. My comments above relate to the vehicle and also the return depot. The staff at both locations were very polite and friendly.

Can't say much more than everything went well. The pickup went smooth, and the car was presented well, no trouble with performance or fit for purpose. The drop off was easy and hassle free.
Over all a stress free experience.
